Thanks to all of you for the things you said. My son called and we got straightened out but mostly I got right with God. Thank you Ivy for recommending those books. I have the study guide but not the book "Battlefield of the Mind". My sister-in-law has it so think I'll ask if I can borrow it. It's been brought up several times on different posts (hint, hint to me). Joyce Meyer says repent is like pent (penthouse) come to the higher place. cfe, maybe you remember the re..but that's what came to mind today. I went to that higher place, received God's forgiveness and feel so much better. Cheri I will pray for you now. You're right we need to pray right on here for each other. Father, we all come against that spirit of rejection attacking Cheri right now. You have no part in her. She's a blood bought child of the King and we thank you for her. We thank you God for how you've used her and will continue using her. I especially thank you Holy Spirit for grounding her in the word and teaching us to be grounded in the word. May she see herself truly as a vessel of honor for you. May all of us be blessed with a new year, new hope and that hope to give a better year to others. Father help us to not try changing others but depend on you to change us. God bless all our online friends, bless the people at StressCenter.com and may continue giving the help that is so needed in our world today. In Jesus name. Amen. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!

barb,
i just finished sending you a message and then came in here to read what others write in the group praying. and it was like i was reading what i wrote you and it was weird but it wasn't..i am glad that you and you son got straight..that helps. but i will pray for your daughter as well. my daughter has been to see her grandmother 30 minutes from me and never came by. so i know how it feels. she is so busy. she comes to raleigh an hour away and never stops by. so we pray for her each night that GOD wil save ehr and her husband. when me and my wife moved her and then started going to church on a regular basis and would not let her husband cuss when we was on the phone then it all changed. thats odd but its life and its too short to worry about the small stuff. and you can list with anyone you want to if you see the house...take care all and GOD BLESS...cfe hope your day is better SUNDAY.my thoughts and prayers are with you as well.

Start the New Year Right; With an Attitude of Grattitude! Be thankful and say so - it opens the door for God's blessings to flow!

Praise the Lord!
I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart, In the company of the upright and in the assembly. Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them. He has made HIs wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and coompassionate. He has sent redemption to HIs people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awsome is His name. - Psalm 111:1,2,4,9 nasb

today I am in the vally of the shadows of death, but I fear no evil, for my God walks with me, and he is strengthening me, I am at peace, and am not moved by the wind of. "That is how it has always been, or nothing needs changing" that is coming at me today. I need to change, I know to grow, and be happy, and at peace with myself this has to change, "His rod and His staff they strengthen me (I believe you are his staff, praying for me and I thank you so much]. I am assured God will give me the victory, as I waite on Him to give me the words, in His perfect timing.
I can't live on this fariswheel, I need a steady path, a calm, and peacefull, road on the maesa. Though this is hard and I am concerned about the outcome, it is worth it all, I am about to bearth a new relationship, of mutual understanding, with God in my mouth, and in my heart, I have no fear,I can not fail.
I know I am nearer to God because you are praying for me and lifting me there, my curage comes from your prayers, and God's promises. God Bless you all through 2007, and bring you closer to the Father. Awmen.

Cheri,

Your courage comes not only from our prayers but from you speaking the word as you so often do and did just now. That is my new years resolution..to speak his word more, to pray his word for others because only His Word is promised not to return void. My sis-in-law gave me not only Joyce Meyers book "Battlefield of the Mind" but also the study guide. I will start working on that this new year and see if I can't overcome this battle in my mind. God's best to you in this new year Cheri and everyone else on this site. :)

It is so good to have online christian sisters and brothers in Christ! YOu know I find so much comfort when I read these posts, and see the faith that is so strong even when we struggle! I want to get the study gueid of Battle Field of the Mind, I read the book already but the guide would be wonderful. I ordered another book about How to handle your Emotions...and I am waiting for it to come, it is also by Joyce Meyers. Cheri, and Barb where are you girls from?

I want to pray for us all.
Dear JESUS, LORD thank you for loving us and comforting us like no other in this world can. No matter the hour, you are always here for us, and you love us. Thank you for giving the strength that we need to push on, and to never give up. We know with YOU ALL things are possible. I am so thankful that you care about everyone of our needs, and that you want to be close to us, that you want to be our best friend. Thank you Lord that all we have to do is surrender everything to you, and that you desire to lift our heavy loads and burdens. I thank you Lord for never being a GOD who grows tired of us or our cries for help. What peace we can find in you, thank you for loving us! Thank you for the work you are doing in us right now behind the scenes. We might not see all that you have planned for us but we know you are a God who finishes whatever you start. So we are honerd and humbled that you are at work in us. Jesus we love you and we ask for your guidence though this new year, that we would come to know you and love you deeper then we have loved you before. Give us a spirit of peace! May we soak in you WORD and be changed deeply because of it! I love to be able to come and hide under the shadow of your wings. We love you Jesus! In Jesus' name we pray amen.
God Bless you all

Ivyheart thank you so very much for that prayer. I feel my faith wavering and I don't know what's going on. I know I must meditate on His word more and more. I'm from WI and Cheri from Nebraska. Where are you from? It doesn't say on your profile other than where it's real hot. FLorida? My mom is there and she sounded worried tonight about her husband which starts to worry me. I've got to get over all these stupid worries I'm putting on myself.
Hey,when you get the study guide I wonder if we could do a thread like they have for the Book Review, we could do "Battlefield of the Mind" thread and just start discussing chap. 1 or ques. in the study guide until we felt we were ready to move on to the next one. Maybe there would be others who would see the thread and get interested. I think Cheri read the entire book too. So hopefully she'll be on here soon and tell us if she'd be interested in this. I appreciate this thread so much knowing others are praying and knowing I can pray for others and get my mind off myself for a while. Thanks again, everyone!

Hi Barb, I am from Arizona, I would love to be involved in the thread! I just have to get the study guide first. Today I return back to work after being off for 6 weeks because of my anxiety. I am a little nervous and would love to ask if you all could pray for me. I have been home working the program and praying and just trying to rid myself of extra stress and worries. Now I am returning back to work so I pray I can use the tools I have learned so far in the program and prayer and not get overwelmed like I was before. Thank you for praying!

Barb and cheri I look forward to talking about the book and encouraging eachother!

God Bless,
Ivyheart

Father we pray now for our friend Ivy and ask you to fill her with your peace. Use her driving time to worship you and also give thanks for this program. Help her to work the program and know she's not doing it alone. Thank you Lord that she has a job she can go back to and bless her in her work. In Jesus name. Amen.
Now I will start the thread "Battlefield of the Mind" and see who wants to join us. I called a friend who moved away and she will if she can get on. She's somewhat computer illiterate.
