im tired of trying
im writting this because i am so tired of trying. im tired of everyone telling me im in an anxiety bubble and i need to push myself. i know that. i cant because i am so scared of pushing myself and ending up in a panic attack. at this point i just want to give up. if there was an easy way of ending this life i really would. i cant do this anymore. i have no life, i work but i barely make it through that i cant go to school i cant even make it to church. i feel like there is no hope for me. i just want to give up.i wish God would just take me already.
Oh my, it's horrible to feel like this, isn't it?
I'm going to go to your one sentence where you said you're scared of pushing yourself and ending up in a panic attack. The panic attack always end. They do! So what if you have another one and who cares what you were doing when it happened. There's an end to them and that's all that counts. You can have the attack at school, work, church, whatever, and make it through. If you have an attack, you haven't failed. On the contrary, you went where you wanted to go, panicked, and lived through it anyway. There's your accomplishment.
I say surround yourself with positive thoughts. Tomorrow you may feel different. I know I always do. I have my days where I think I can't keep doing it and the next day it's different. That's what keeps me going ... the thought of a new day and more positive thoughts. If I can do it, anybody can. Tomorrow is Friday. A new day. A better one.

Indysgirl,
My heart goes out to you and my prayers up for you. I was there and have made progress, so I KNOW there is hope for you.
It'a miserable feeling to be in that pit and worse when you see no way out. For me, there's been this program, new medications, friends I've made here who went through the same thing, family, the Lord, changing negative thinking, realizing I'm not alone. You aren't expected to come through this by yourself. The program is a good step. Reaching out like this is another. What else in your life is good? What people can you depend on. If you can't get to church, can you tune in to a 30 minute segment on TV. There are really good preachers out there, some of whom have dealt with anxiety and depression. Are you seeing a doc and are you on medication? What are some things that would make you have hope again? Please write back. There are wonderful people in this group who will be there for you. Bev

There’s A New Day Coming!
When the Sun announces the dawning day
Just flex your muscles and start on your way.
Go over, or under, around, or through
Any Obstacles or hurdles that challenge you.
There’s a new day coming.
Cast aside the failures of yesterday.
Forget the peaks and valleys that have paved your way.
Wipe the sweat from your brow and the dust from your shoe.
Take a breath and relax so that you may begin anew.
There’s a new day coming.
Forget the burdens and obstacles that have held you back.
Focus on your dreams and prepare a plan of attack.
There are battles awaiting to challenge your success.
Daring you to stand tall and to give it your best.
There’s a new day coming.
No matter how great the journey, or how heavy the load
How steep the mountain, or how rough the road.
When your arms grow weary and legs give way
Stop and rest for a moment, it will be okay.
There’s a new day coming.
As shadows spring forth from the setting Sun.
Take a moment and savor the battles you’ve won.
Sleep peacefully tonight and enjoy your rest.
Awaken tomorrow and continue your quest.
There’s always, a new day coming.

Keep on, keeping on...
I'm so happy that your reaching out and venting. Thats a positive side!!! That showed there are things that you can do!!!
Through out your message it showed everything that you can't do.......But I know there are some wonderful things you can do and there is a beautiful purpose for your life....thats why you are here today and become stronger and stronger that what you were a year ago. So lets stay positive here and share with me some more of the things you can do! Believe me we all have been where you are.....its going to be ok.
Many Blessings

Nice poem GirlWisdom, thanks for sharing it. I really don't know what to say to ease your pain here, just that.....it will pass as long as you want it to and that you must persevere through it. Every step, even baby/small steps count for something, just living and making it to the next day is an amazing thing. I try to look back sometimes, but only to see my progress istead of the huge task in front of me and that helps me so much! We are all in this together so keep pressing on one "tick" (clock) at a time. Don't forget that what we are going through is something we can help others with because we have walked in their shoes! God Bless, you are not alone, it takes time (more than you want it to).........Chief
Indysgirl....
Im so sorry your feeling so frustrated. And thats what it is. It seems like we push and we push and we push and there should be progress but sometimes we just dont see it.
Its so hard to mingle with the people inour lives and feel we are so different but your not...everyone feels the feelings of anxiety just some are much better at being less affected by it. You will get there I promise.
You didnt mention your program do you have it? If you do and you stopped or you arent really giving it your all then pick it up again. Im serious you say your pushing through and not feeling better....you wont if you dont apply the skills.
We can all just steam roll through life and its obsticles but if you dont do with with the right approach you are just "pushing" and no one can run at that pace. The program teaches us to use a gentle set of skills to practice everyday its not about getting in that car in a sheer panic and doing it anyway...thats not the idea. You need to use your skills the positive talk, the breathing, the eating right, getting enough rest....life altering skills that balance your everyday life so that you as a person are more healthy, calm and balanced to get in that car and go without the panic. Do you see the difference.
The way your approaching your anxiety is going to only make you exhausted, frustrated and angry and hopeless....but the good news, The GREAT news is you have everything you need to approach it different.
Please take another look at what your doing.....am I right? Are you in constant panic and just pushing through life? Thats not going to work.....do the program....learn the skills....use those skills EVERYDAY of your life and your entire world will calm down and you will be able to push onto the next thing WITHOUT the severe panic your feeling....I know this works....
Try.
Please.
