It is probably anxiety. I think I said it earlier, but a guy at work talked about burning in his throat during physical excertion and he wound up having bypass surgery. So, oddly enought only a week or so went by when this symptom developed, of course cause I want to think that I am having the big one, that is my anxiety these days.

I hate that I can feel OK, but start to have some CP and then later probably start with the throat thing.

I am 95% sure it is anxiety as it appears my Xanax can cure most everything. I am trying to deal more on my own than with the meds, but sometimes I just need to come down and get back to normal.

I have an endoscopy to be scheduled within the next couple of weeks, but through an Upper GI Series they said I have mid thoracic reflux, but I never had any visible symptoms. I really think it is my anxiety.

Just hate being like this, but I have always felt that I can get anyone's symptom if it plays me in a directino of panic. From the onset I thought about this guy at work and I have dealt with it evers since.

hmmmmmm! :D

you are NOT alone. we are all here and you can start believing in yourself as your security now as you have taken steps forward to address this anxiety situation. yahooooooooooo!

accupuncture does help. listen to soothing music, ones without words..it does calm you down so you can think and act clealry.

water, exercise, walk and read your cards and follow the program . have done this for a year and it works....

So here's the cool thing I get from your post Engine - it's anxiety. If that Xanax cures it most of the time and the symptoms appeared after you heard about it, it makes sense that it's something your mind created. Now you can stop worrying about it!

Here's another cool thing - thank the Xanax for helping you figure that out. Don't be hard on yourself. I know we all want to go 'drug-free' to get better, but be thankful you've got it when you really need it!

Sounds to me like you are on the right track and it will get easier.

I also was diagnosed with costochrondritis. Basically its an inflamation of the chest cavity. Mainly triggered by foods!! Just like someone that has arthritis and or gout. Watch what foods you eat such as sugars, white flours, etc. Heres something else for you.

The human mind likes logic, order, and reason. We like to deal with issues we can wrap our understanding around and come up with solutions that make sense to us. We have a tendency to think small because we are limited creatures, and we don't have the perspective to understand from God's point of view. We tend to put things in tiny, neat compartments in our minds, telling ourselves this must be right because it fits nicely there. We need to depend and trust in God to show us things in such a way that we know--with an inner security--that what has been revealed to our mind is correct. One must not allow themselves to reason with their mind, searching for logical solutions. Instead, you must say, "My trust is in the Lord, and whatever He tells me to do, I will obey."

Prayer

Dear God,thank You for loving me more than I can even comprehend. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to help me love and honor You so much that when You speak, I will have only one thought in my mind, and that is to obey. Amen
