Group praying?

The week end went well, after Thrusday and Friday were so tough for my husband, trublw with the grain truck kept him from attending the Vetrens appreciation concert at the High School, and our hired hand leaving kept him us from attending the USMC Birthday ball. We did get a paying hunter, and I have spent the last 3 days and nights cooking 5 cours meals 3 times a day. Tonight I am ready to rest. \

I wanted to thank you for your prayers. I know our dissapointements are God appointements.

Our ranch is in truble we have a intestinal worm, that is becoming a reall problem to our bottom line. I thank all of you for your prayers in our direction.

Thak you for your prayers, we gave all the beef calves a shot of penecilin, this morning, and we will see what that does. If it works on them we will do it for the heiffers, too. our thoughts and prayers are with you...i am sorry that your husband did not get to go to the ball...maybe next year he will get to go..i wanted to go to the veterans prade but my wifes knee was still bothering her so we did not go.. we went to church the next day...take care and GOD BLESS...

I am so proud of my husband, and the way he deals with problems, I just want to grow up like him some day. God is so good and I know He has made a way for us. tonight I am so excited to see it, but I must watch and waite for it's soon commeing. I just read how people like me that always seem to interupt other people, are in the highest risk for heart attac; I have read this now 3 times, you know "if there are 2 wittnesses", any way I started thinking, This artical is a wittness to me that I truly need to slow down and listen, in the article it says if you learn to be still and listten. I can cut my chances of a heart attac in 1/2. A type personality and so forth. I do not like typing, but I have proven to myself I am one of those, and I just got this from an email frend and thought it would be intresting to some of you. God Bless you all,

it helps me to find a verse to stand on in times of truoble. to know it is written, in God's ordained book that it will be OK, just now our ranch is on the line, the news isn't looking good, the price of gas is up so the ethinall plants are going up all over Nebraska, so the price of corn is up, and the price of cattle is down, our best bet is to feed out the steers, and keep the heiffers, in the 7th year of drouth even our ranch is affected, we have to buy corn, to feed the beef we can't bring them allong, the grass feed nitch if we wanted to, we don't have the grass. and now we have vaccinated with penicilin, so they won't fing the all natural nitch market, today we couldn't even sell the cull cows at a profit. the price of fule is up for us too and everything else, like the rest of the country, but our prices are depressed with imports, usualy the government has done that to keep food cheep in this country, then give us back in subsidys to balance it out, not the government is threttening to stop the subsidies, if that happens Tyson, Swift,and Cargil, all the butterchering plants will take controle of the ranches as we will have to sell out to pay our bills. Change is coming. Big brother is pusshing, Turnner is buying and others. land is becoming a colectors item for the rich and powerfull. I do not looking in to this futuer to far, my husband is the best manager I have ever known, but times are getting harder only 2% of us ranchers have more than 100 cows, most work off the land, at day jobs and work the land on their time off, allot of our neighbors drive for miles to work for the UPRR 4 days a week and their wives ranch while they are gone. at 59 that won't be our way out, but God will make a way, I am getting excited to see what it will be, as one theing after another continues to prevail against us just now. I just payed a $1,200. fule bill for the last 2 weeks. the cattle have to be feed hay with tractors, the grass is gone. To day I found myself singing God Bless America. what a mess she is in, I am so glad I am not in controle and I am also glad God is, I have read we are the last generation, then I wonder if every one in their 50's has thougth that over the years. Boy Cheri you are so right about the economy and how many people are really opening their eyes. Seems like many are still getting deeper and deeper into credit card debt. Another neighbor just put their house for sale. We've been trying to sell ours but haven't advertised for quite a while and don't care to move over the holidays but probably should still do something as we don't want to be in this much debt. So sorry about your ranch, animals and all the financial problems. I do so appreciate your posts and even when you're down, you stand on God's Word. That will be the only thing to hold us up as things continue to spiral. I pray for wisdom to you and your husband and God's financial provision. I pray this for others and myself as well.
