Hi. I posted on another thread and I thought I did here but I see now I didn't. Silly me!

My son came through the op better than when he went in. He was very scared going in. We prayed and prayed for him. When he came back he was laughing some. After the "happy juice" as his doc calls it wore off he was back to his anxious self. He still is having pain and is worrying. They removed three and are sending them to see if they are cancer. But the doc does not think they are. He also has one under his chin and just found another small one in his arm (which he just discovered). Please keep praying for him and me also. I feel like I am a zombie walking around and like I will drop over dead at anytime. I thank God for bringing him through the operation and helping him.

I have sure been there Tinna, only a sick child can wear us down that much. Get your rest when he comes home from the hospital he will need you strong.

accept God's gifts!!! I just went thruth that last week my husband bought a car I don't need, and we are flying out to Vegas from a little airport 2 hours away instead of 5 hours away. it will add on $5 hundred. I was up set, but my goal is to be less affeted so I can be more effective. so I blew it off, I prayed, and God showed me how I had not been leaning on him, and belieaving in him, to take care of me. I had my store house, and was not usuing it untill it was spoiled. what a menal pecture that was. I will accept God's gifts through my husband, and I will live in peace, before God. I am so glad we have this prayer groop, to pray for eachother and our Country. I am thinking about election day on Tue. We need to pray so much is at stake, we want God in this Decission. anything and Everything, there isn't anything God dosn't want to be part of, nothing is to small or to big, He wants to fellowship with us that is why He made us. He wants in on the begining, to offten we wate and call on Him after the mess is made. My daughter called this morning and told me she had an abcess she was hoping would go away, but she had to go in the hospital emergency to have it lanced last night. I just emangine that is how God feels! why didn't she call me earlyer so I could have helped her get rid of it before it became an M.D. emergency, expencive and now she is on antibiotics, when preventive care would have made all the diffrence in the outcome, now what can I do. Before; paryer, codliver oil poltus, and galic drinks, would have probably stoped the whole thing but she hoped, Hope is important but Faith without works are dead. "If you are sick call the elders, I have learned how important that is.

Like Lucinda says, in our self talk, we can encourage others, we can be compationat to others. We have to learn to be compationat encouragers of our selves, and God wants us to ask Him and others to help us because when YOU are sick you can't think like when it is happening to others. it is easier to see their problem than to see the "mote in your own eye" God knowes that, and yet we try to do it ourselves, don't want to bother or worry our elders.

This thread is so wonderfull becasue we can pray for each other even when we don't know why but, I do think God wants us to ask for help that is a healing act in it's self.

"The {Holy} Spirit comes to my aid and bears me up in my weakness; for I do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as I ought, but the Spirit Himslef goes to meet my supplication and pleads in my behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance ROMANS 8;26

Sorry to hear about your daughter, there must be something happening these days. My son also go a place on his leg last month, thought it was a spider bite, gave him antibiotics, and thought it had cleared up. But, thursday he called me and ask if i could loan him the money to go back to the doctors, he has 4 more on his legs. Doctor said its a staph infection and is hoping it isnt resistant staph.
I feel so sorry for him, he is in so much pain, and the really big one they lanced. So, i know what your daughter is going through. They dont have a clue where it came from for sure. So, i will keep your daughter in my prayers,, and please keep my son in yours.. My son is 36yrs old.. Take care Nelly:)
