Hi everyone,
I am asking for prayer for our family. My husband has just taken a second job to help with our bills. I work during the school year but am off in the summer .(that might have to change soon)Anyway because of how stressful money has been, we have put our house up for sale.We have had it on the market for 7 months....with no action. I have just started feeling so depressed about money, my husband having to be gone doing 2 jobs, and not loving my job. I want to leave and do something else but I have been doing my job for 9 years. I feel I am afraid to change. Please pray for me to have a clear vision of what I should do as far as my job change. And also pray that our family stays close even though we won't be spending as much time with eachother. It's just a hard time in our life right now, I know it is hard for a lot of people as well. I just don't want money stress to steal our joy. I feel like it is hard to smile and laugh right now.I guess I need prayer to keep perspective on the truth! Not to believe the lies of the Devil (that all is hopeless)

Thank you so much for hearing me, and sorry if I rambled! It's just hard to put all this into words.

God Bless,
Ivy

Ivy,

I will be praying for you as well. I know how draining financial situations can be, unfortunately. Please try not to let it still your joy. In Matthew 6:34, Jesus tells us Not to worry (easier said than done!) about tomorrow, today has enough trouble of its own. God has taken care of you and your family thus far and he will continue to take care of your family and provide for you in the future :)

I'll pray for you as well, be comforted in knowing that you have an entire church family behind you in whatever you do that wants to see you prosper.

We will also be praying for you here. Remember the Lord's Prayer- "Give us this day our daily bread." We pray that He gives you what you need each day for that day and for you not to be burdened with the sum total of it all. In other words, to take one day at a time. That's plenty on one's shoulders.

Hang in there Ivy. Remember, GOd only gives us what He feels we can handle. Pray for answers and they will be there when God is ready to give them to you. I will pray for you and your family, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel!!

before I got ready for bed i wanted to hear encouraging words from other believers! Thank you for giving me your prayers.
In my life I have many friends...but it is amazing to me how much God speaks to me through this site. I feel more real with you all then all the people I speak with in person face to face daily! From the my whole heart thank you!

Hey Ivy...

Heavenly Father, I pray the sweet comfort of the Holy Spirit will keep my dear sister and her husband's heart and mind. Understanding that you God have brought Ivy this far and you will not leave her and her family mid-stream. Remember your mercy and truth towards her household. (thank you)

I ask you, Jesus, for clarity and peace and a gentle knowing down on the inside of Ivy and her husband that everything is going to be alright...

{I too am in a similar situation and I feel you more than you know... You may keep me in your prayers regarding your same issues.}

Blessings to you,

when we meet for prayer wednesay night we can see how each is doing on what we have talked about on here and on the phone...
you will be surprised how GOD answers prayer as we reach out to him..there is a closeness with other CHRISTIANS that we share. some more then others. we seem to know how others feel even though they do not say much..
i ask that GOD gives us wisdom and let us help others..
take care and have a good night and a good day tommorrow..GOD BLESS..
DON
let my light so shine that others may see CHRIST in me..
