Hi I am new to this board - have just started the program past weekend. Have been involved with lot of personal development programs like Landmark in the past, and have also been doing meditations of various kind over the past few years. Hope to get a good handle on the anxiety attacks that seem to have me freeze up like a "deer in the headlights" a lot of time..

More later,

Thanks Tammy and Fran

I had one quick question - when I ordered the program they also signed me in for a suppliment order for some herbal suppliment. I has arrived but I havent started yet- has any one else tried these? Whats been your experience? I will really appreciate your help in this regard.

Cheers!!

Hi AM2008

I have just started the program and have only completed Session 2. I have found the information to be good but am still anxious about all this. I truly hope that this program will help me. I wish you the best of luck with this program.

AM2008,
I am new also. I received the supplements and have taken them for 3 days now. I thought I would give them a chance for a month. I already take vitamins and minerals on a daily basis and looked up some of the things in these supplements to see what they do. There are things added that are supposed to help your mood and I can definitely use help along those lines. I am willing to try since I trust who and where they come from and I have found that trying to put together your own vitamin program very frustrating and causes me extra anxiety, worrying I am not taking the right things or in the right amounts.
I will let you know how it goes if I see that they help me feel any better.

Welcome all of you newbies the program will help and it will make a difference in your life just stick to it and do the homework and the relaxation cd and you will get better. I felt more anxious at first to fran_50 I think most of us do because we are looking at ourselves and our problems under a microscope and learning alot of new things don't worry though hang in there and it will get better. fran_50 I am a fellow Ontarian I live about 20 minutes from you in a small town called Nobleton I wonder if you have heard of it.
Again welcome all and God bless you on your new journey.
God bless
Mimi

I got my program back before the supplements, but I do buy them myself and take them. I'm assuming you mean the good days vitamins. I've been taking them for almost 2 months and have had no issues with them (other than a gassy belly when first starting them and the occasional fish burp haha) The helpful people on here have suggested things to eliminate both. I find I have more energy with these and generally like them a lot. Give them a whirl, you have nothing to lose :)

Does anyone have any advice for situations where for example, I am being followed, and the harassment and following me, is what causes my anxiety and depression. Since I can't control what others do, how can I overcome the effects of their actions on my mental health? It seems almost impossible to get through the anxiety when feeling like my life is in danger. It just seems logical that until the harassment and following stops, I won't be able to find peace. Lately I am thinking about leaders of the past, who have been imprisoned for their beliefs and doing what is right. My life sort of feels like a prison, so maybe in looking at how those in the past constructively dealt with being imprisoned I too can learn to cope.

Greetings: I too started the program this week-end based on a recommendation. At first, I did not think it was for me. I'm not really depressed and I don't think I have anxiety. I have bouts of unctontrollable anger (rage, even?). The events feel hormonal/chemical and not necessarily related to anything emotitional going on (or so I thought). I'm also too often negative for myself and my family's well being. After listening to the first tape, I said, "Uh oh, I fit the description of of high-anxiety person to a tee." I actually think my anger is a form of a panic attack. Hmmmm....better keep going on with the program. I don't know if it can alter my behavior if it is , in fact, chemical, but I'm willing to try for a while.

In regard to Good Days, I started it a few weeks ago on my own before I even heard about the program. For me, it seems to take the edge off and balance me a bit better. It doesn't feel "numbing" like an anti-depressent, just a good vitamin with calming effects.

Best to all in this endeavor.
