Needing guidance

Post by HopefulDreams » Mon Feb 14, 2011 5:43 pm

I have been feeling very distant from many people that are near and dear to my life. I want to be around them but haven't been able to feel the full love and support that they give.. in short I feel numb... Anyone else feel the same? After week 2 I've been feeling a bit more anxiety... I'm being hopeful that this will pass.. but discouraged that it's not helping fast enough.. do people progress at different paces with this program.... I'm also seeing a therapist and he's been helpful but I want this dullness to go away.. I can't even focus when I read! I think it may be teh medication.. but I'm afraid to come off it.. Advice?

Some medication can cause anxiety. I took a couple that made me feel very anxious. I am on new medication and not experiencing the same symptoms. I feel dull sometimes too, but its early. Great things take time.

Everyone learns and changes at different paces, Im sure this is no different. So dont get discouraged yet. i am doing my best to believe this program will work for me. Sometimes I feel dull on days too, but I try to keep my head up and work through it. So keep your head up! :)
