Hello 2manybirds,

Sounds like pvcs to me! Is that what they diagnosed you with? I often go to medhelp as they have alot of posts on their for people who experience these and it helps to read of others who go through the same thing.

I know it is hard to believe everything is ok when your heart is beating irregular! But I have been to 5, yes 5, different cardiologist, some the best in my area, and ALL have said I have benign pvcs. I can't take a beta blocker as my blood pressure runs low and I am sensitive to meds anyway. So, I either learn to ignore them or get a surgical procedure done that may or may not make them better. Well, I HATE surgeries, especially if it is not necessary so I am taking one day at a time, praying my way through and trusting God and my doctors. With having anxiety, it is so easy to think the worse, which I have done more times than I can count. But I am learning. Hope that helps answer your question. :)

I have tried beta blockers and the side effects are too bothersome. I have been having so many of them that I am getting other symptoms now from worry and anxiety. This heart stuff is the one thing I have had the hardest time dealing with. I have times where I don't have so many (or I don't notice them) and then they seem to come back with a vengeance. I exercise and try to do all the right things but I continue to have so many. The rapid heartbeats that are now happening at times seems to be something new. That is why I asked about those.
Thanks for your post :)

Hi 2manybirds,

Would you by chance, happen to be a lady in perimenopause? I ask as I am and my doctor has confirmed that the pvcs are in relation to this lovely time of transition. Rapid heartbeats can be too.

If not, anxiety alone can aggrevate them. I've had them as often as every other beat for hours. Sometimes we can try to do everything right and we still get them. There is a website called "uncommonforum" and they have some good stuff on there too. Wishing you a blessed week. :)

2manybirds,

LOL :D Well, I guess we can't include peri in your possible causes! :D

I truly hope you are doing much better. I had them in bigeminy this morning for awhile. Not fun but they settled down after awhile.

Ok so I have now been wearing this dang monitor for nearly thirty days...what a chore! In the meantime I have done a ton of research and this is what I have found and have been doing. I havent had any pvcs for over a month! What kind of time spane do you guys usually go without having them? I have started eating more raw fruits and vegetables, I have also started drinking O.N.E. coconut water along with zero poweraid! I have been focusing alot on biofeed back and relaxation along with daily cardio. I am convinced that I have some sort of inbalance and thats why the coconut water as it is high in natural electrolytes and has more potassium than a banana! I will write more in depth if i break my record of no pvcs. Lack of magnesium and or potassium can cause pvcs, electrolyte issues can also so Im messing with everything lol. Oh and stress/anxiety can cause them I have read ...lol

Tebori,

That's great that you've gone that long without any pvcs! :)

I used to get them only on occasion. Some months I would have them, others nothing.

Now, I get them monthly, almost every day. I do take a potassium supplement and magnesium too. Maybe all the changes you have made was all you needed to do and they won't come back! Won't that be great!! Keep us updated!

So I have now been without pvcs for over six months unfortunately American doctors and the FDA are a complete joke! I came to the conclusion I had a electrolyte imbalance and since I haven't had them anymore I'm assuming I am right lol. I drink O.N.E. The coconut water everyday and viola no more pvcs! I hope this helps someone else. None of the doctors or specialists even considered electrolytes!

LOL,
That's a disgrace because electrolytes are one of the 1st things to look at K+.
