Hey, THH and Mano, I like your ideas on not making a mountain out of mole hills and choice of music. :)

It's now the weekend and it's time to selfishly look after me ! Actually that's not selfish at all.

It's starting to get cold here now and the heat is cranked up !

For the longest time, I thought this was Steve Miller.............I was wrong.

I dug deep for this LOL

It's snowing today ! Not enough to stick, but it's snowing ! I went on to YouTube looking for Christmas stuff. I had no idea there was a video to this song.

For those of you in a slump today and kind of dreading the holiday's, this might do the trick.

I was told by a little bird that helpfully reminded me I hadn't been logging in (thanks Jilly). Sorry about that guys. I'm not really in a funk or anything, I just haven't been in a chatty mood I guess. Well, it's my loss - I need to check in now and then to keep my spirits up!

Congrats to Mano and THH for handling your anxious episodes well. As my therapist says, you've "planted a flag". The goal is to plant as many flags as we can, all over the place, and claim the world for ourselves, not for anxiety. I'll be generous and let anxiety have a small place on the Moon or something. I don't plan on visiting there any time soon. :)

Hey! That reminds me of a song. It's another one by They Might Be Giants, so by default, it's weird, or at least unconventional:

They Might Be Giants - Destination Moon

Have fun with that one. Again it's not an official video. For whatever reason, this group doesn't seem to have any real music videos available. Well I guess it's kind of clear why they don't have any videos...

Searunner!
Glad you stopped in. I like "claiming your world, and not the anxiety!" We are working on setting flags everywhere.
Cool song too! I've not heard this song before, how fun! :D

Manofmusic,
I too thought that sounded JUST like Steve Miller band. Geez wonder what band influenced them????
I liked your Christmas song too!
This is one of my favorites, its bound to put you in the Christmas "Mood" :)

Still no painters :( It will wait till after the holidays now.
We had about 8 inches of snow the last couple days. A Nor-easter is coming in this weekend...that means lots of snow for us. I'm going to go out and get my supplies before that one hits. It looks nice out with the Christmas snow! ;)
Do you have a real tree or a fake one?

Ah...that's too bad THH about the painters and the weather. Christmas Snow is pretty especially when you are all bundled up inside! ;) Hey, I loved the song! It is such a Happy Song! :D Thanks!

I have a fake tree I'm using this year. :)
DS brought it in yesterday and I set it up last night. Today I got all the lights plugged in and the branches fluffed out while smelling a wonderful lit fresh pine scented candle and listening to the Carpenter's! :) Paislee

Fake tree. I had to buy a new one this year. The old one was starting to fall apart. Someone might have been hurt ! LOL

Charlie Brown's Christmas. A classic ! Do you know how long it took for me to get that out of my head ? LOL I'll let you know when it finally does.

Sorry to hear about the painters. It's waaaaaay to close to Christmas now to get painting done. You're better off waiting until the new year.

Paislee - A Carpenter's Christmas. No matter what anyone says, Karen had a really good singing voice. " Meeeeeerry Christmas Daaaaaaaarlinggggg".

SeaRunner - Thought we lost you ! Make sure to log in once in a while. The holiday season can be a tough one for many of us. Even if you just log in to let us know you're still here, that would be good enough !

They Might Be Giants didn't put out too many videos. It's a shame !

Back in a bit with the song of the day ! LOL

Da Da Da Dant, Daaan Daaaan Daaaaan Dant. Oh yea me too! LOL... :D

I have a fake tree too. Its small but cute, it looks good all decorated. :)

I'm cool with the guy not coming to paint. Although it would look better if they were done. But yea, no way now!
We are in for some bad weather Sunday. I'm hearing words like BLIZZARD on the weather

I'm trying to stay calm as I have so much to do for Christmas yet. So what if it don't all get done!( I'm sounding like my dad!!!) People will just have to deal with it! LOL... :D

Man Of, Good song, it reminded me of this one.
