so my darling mano - was work any better today? i hope so! are others treated with the same lack of decency? i've been lying so low at work i'm almost wearing elbow pads for the low crawl i've achieved.

did you have a fun weekend? i did. the weather was crisp - had the first fire of the year - in the fireplace LOL spent sunday outside in the sunshine working in the yard. it was absolutely wonderful. i'm off thursday - holiday for veteran's day - and i've already checked the weather. supposed to be 77 and sunny. yay for me!!!!

i'm trying to figure out health insurance for work. i find it confusing to the nth degree and then some. a coworker is giving me a "presentation" tomorrow so i'll understand it better. it's funny/sad LOL

Work is going really good now and I'm finally happy. I'm left alone to just do my work and time flies by again.

I'm concentrating on working on my bathroom. I only work in it on the weekend. I'm getting a bunch of really good deals too. I seem to be hitting all of the sales. I need to get floor and wall tiles next, but I'm in no hurry at all. I was rushed by one of the people helping last weekend and a panic attack hit BIG TIME ! It lasted about 20 minutes. I didn't run from it though. I let it run it's course and once it was done, I was tired for a while, but then I came around and went on my way. Finally realizing that there's no rush to complete it is a good feeling. I don't care if it takes until the Spring to finish it. If it takes that long, then that's what it is. The next major purchases are the tiles and the glass blocks. After that, it's the cedar boards for the ceiling, then the paint. No rush, no worries. It'll get done at MY pace, no one else's. Sometiomes I go to Home Depot just to get prices. I don't go in to actually buy anything. The best part of this is that I've yet to use a credit card and I don't plan on using it at all.

I hate it when someone tells me that I need to buy this and that NOW.....don't wait, get it NOW ! Hurry hurry ! We'll work on this and that during the week and we'll get it done fast fast fast ! ...........that's when the attack hits.

i had great week. was off thursday for veteran's day then took friday off just because! it's been in the 70's here and sunshine like you wouldn't believe. i've been outside soaking up as much sun as i possibly can. i more than know i had SAD - seasonal affective disorder - and why wouldn't i? LOLOL i have every other psycho disorder so let's throw them all in LOL x forever

the pool is NOT as green. let me restate - NOT as green. i got the old firewood out of the woods and onto the driveway so it would dry out and be stacked on the porch with the new firewood. the back yard is clean and tidy and pretty again!

i've been walking the boys - they are so happy on the riverwalk. of course it's got to be one at a time because there is no way i can hold them both and mama certainly can't. what can i say - they are raised by me and honey it shows. they are wild as bucks LOL

wednesday after work keeper hit me behind the knees and knocked me down in the kitchen - backwards. i hit the floor like a ton of bricks! everything but my head hit the floor. he thought it was a game and was on me like a cheap suit! i felt like any quarterback auburn has taken out!!!!! LOL when i finally managed to get him out of my hair - off my head! - and stand up i felt like i'd twisted my right knee and ankle. mama was on her way over for us to walk around the lake and we still did. i manned up and walked it off. i think that's the reason it didn't take me out!!!!! my back was a bit sore thursday but not back enough to stop me from my projects.

pony is 100 pounds and keeper is a solid 90 pit bull mix. they were wrestling and didn't mean to hurt me - i hope? LOL x forever

i'm still clearing our closets and drawers. i promise this is the house where feng shui just gave up - packed her bags and ran screaming into the night. not that i blame her. i'd do the same but can't get far enough away - yet LOL at myself

your bathroom sounds amazing! i hope you'll share pictures when it's done? i can't begin to imagine how is to know how to do the things you do. that must make you feel so good about yourself.

i'm impressed - jealous - that you managed to gut out the panic attack and move forward with you day - you continue to be a hero!

ok i'm off to start the day. the auburn/georgia game is at 3:30. mama and a girlfriend of mine are coming over. i hope it's a good game - not a beat down. if it's a beat down we'll go for a walk.

i hope you're weekend is more fun than anything!!!!

I am so glad it's just anxiety. Unfortunately there are people on the planet that have the same problem with anxiety as me but fortunately, there is a wealth of information out there that we can use to aid and help each other out.

Mrs T Bones - glad to hear that there's a limit to what you'll hang on your walls. You had me concerned LOL

Karma - You mean to tell me that it gets cold enough in Alabama to light fires in the fireplace ????? It's 48 degrees right now and I'm walking around in shorts ! I LOVE the "cool" weather. Sounds like your dogs are plotting against you ! LOL Watch your back. You just never know ! One day, they'll lock you out of your house and not let you back in ! LOL

As for the bathroon...my brother (he took and early retirement) came over while I was at work and finished the plumbing and put the tub and drain in for me. The bathroom floor has a little bit of a bow to it, so he had to shim it level and used the expanding spray foam in a few spots to settle it. He did a really good job ! When I walked in the house, all I could smell was the glue that was used for the drain pipes ! LOL buzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'm going to take a break this weekend from it all. I'll start up again next weekend.

yes it gets cold here in alabama/georgia LOL it's been in the 30's and 40s in the mornings - a bit of ice on my back windshield. but it's been getting up into the 70s by afternoon. it's absolutely beautiful weather.

i'm off all next week for thanksgiving. 2 days are furlough days so that means unpaid but it's already been factored into my yearly salary - which isn't very much to begin with so it's really not a big deal.

plans for the upcoming week include putting an electric wire around the bottom of my chain-length fence. why? because there are cats everywhere and they are driving pony insane. he's going over the fence constantly after cats and it scares me simple! got a call at work thursday from a neighbor that he was loose. i raced home and couldn't find him. drove around hanging out the car window yelling like a maniac for him. i live just 2 blocks away from a busy road and - well you can imagine. finally found him headed home. he had that deranged happy look of a dog who's been free as the wind when he jumped into the car. he was as happy as if he had good sense and my palms were sweating - hence the electric wire!!!!

next is yard work - and i love yard work!!! then there's the almost not green pool to finish. i look at the pool and the movie title "there will be blood" changes to "it will be clear" LOL x forever

one of the big things i'm working on is clearing out clothes i haven't worn/seen for the past 105 years. i have such issues with getting rid of things. it's not that i'm a hoarder - it's just i always think that maybe someday i'll need whatever it is i'm taking to goodwill. and i won't - the rational part of me knows that but still ... LOL

work has been ok. the elbow pads i use for low crawling under the radar are worn through - yes i'm still flying under the radar as much as possible.

i've got a friend lined up to go with me to walmart today. mama's birthday is tomorrow - she'll be 83! - and i'm getting her a digital camera.

well it's time for me to rock and roll. hope everyone's weekend is practically perfect!!!

Happy Birthday to your mama ! 83 ! That's pretty cool. I hope to live that long. My mom's 81. I was born a little later in their lives. I like to say that I was the only planned one ! LOL

Are the cats wild or do they belong to people ? It sounds like they're becoming Scooby snacks for your dogs ! LOL You won't have to waste money at the grocery store. Just let them run loose until they're full. LOLOL

It actually gets in the 30's there at night ?

I remember last year seeing on the news about the drivers in the south on icy roads that they aren't used to. It starts off with a yeeehaaaaa and finishes off with a terrifyiing scream as they head towards the ditch. It's sad and comical all at the same time.
