Wow, I agree, you definitely hit the nail on its head! BINGO! I am noticing that its true, everything irritates me and stresses me. I see every piece of dirt on the floor, the walls, the furniture. I smell all the smells, stupid cats that have to "mark" their territory, mold from a torn apart bathroom that the "men" folk don't notice and aren't taking care of it as soon as possible, or tell me it is coming from another part of this torn apart bathroom. 
Some of my adult children just stress me due to their immaturity and I have to be so patient with them.
I see all the things that need to be done outside as well as inside...I'm working on giving to my family, but they are my stressors right now. I've given them a lot and I'm burned out. But I'm here though and getting counseling. So it is just a matter of time and patience in working on my stress issues.
