And my hubby used to take me on these type of rides...lol..no wonder I had panic attacks..Teeee Heee!!!

We would jump creeks and go straight up cliffs on dune buggies!!! This is much too crazy for me!!! I prayed from the time I was on one of these, until I got off..can barely believe I am still alive..

Thank God he gave up on those rides, because I can remember riding what we called dune buggies..lolololol..of course, these are jeeps, and that is the only difference...UGH!!! Much too crazy for me!!!

enjoy guys... Hill climbing and jumping!!

And here was the "major" ice storm of 2009!!! Of course, this was filmed 60-70 miles from me in the big city of Lexington, KY!!! You should have seen our place during that time!!! It was breath takingly beautiful!!! We were without electricity for weeks!!!

I did have a smilebox creation of this ice storm, since my brother did get out and ride down through the gorge area and take photos, but I ended up burning it onto a DVD!!!

Our state was declared an "state of emergency" and it sure was, since I have never in my entire lifetime seen so much ice and snow!!!

There were trees and power lines down all over our state!!!

Believe it or not, I really did enjoy myself!!! We normally heat with central heat, but I sure did enjoy building a fire in my fireplace!!!

Also, I enjoyed playing "Rook" games with our friends!!! We had sooooo very much fun!!!

It was fun playing cards using kerosene lamps and candles!!! It really was!!! Plus, we would all gather together in my home and my brother would play the guitar and we would sing, sing and sing some more!!!

We were never--ever bored, because it was like we were camping out in our home!!! I loved it, but I was also very thankful to have my electricity turned back on, since I did not desire to live that way forever...lolololol..and I didn't care much about going to the laundromat..

Anyhow, here is my last sharing for the night..

Enjoy... 2009 Ice Storm!!!

Mrs. T Bones,
What a beautiful video! You got some great shots of the trees with ice, and the wild life and music was really nice! I have seen that kind of storms, living in NE Ohio. I never have captured it as lovely as what you did.
Thank you for sharing. It has inspired me to take more pictures. Lovely! :D

i try n relax on my back deck but theres just so much noise in the city >.<

i need to go on a nice vacation in nature somewhere away from all the city noise n just relax my soul for a bit..

i would do it too if i could just get in my car and drive there lol.. oh well 1 step at a time :)

Hi Jenova :) :) :),
That sounds like a excellent idea!!! When the rain stops and it dries up outside, I may just try doing that one!!!

I may even find me a grapevine bush to hide under, like I did when I was a child, or I may just try swinging on those grapevines again!!!

Being an adult, just can be too difficult, at times!!! The simple things in life are free and they are the very best ever!!!

Just think..a child blindly trusts everyone!!! If it has been well taken care of, it has absolutely no problems or concerns!!! All it thinks about is eating, playing and sleeping!!!

Sure sounds GREAT to me!!! I am going to have to try and remember just what it felt like to be a child, because it has been so long, that I have almost forgotten..TEEE HEEE!!!

Aaaww THH, I just noticed your response!!! I am sooo very thankful that you enjoyed watching and listening...lol..I love taking photos and filming!!!

I drive a jeep also, but I used to own another jeep and I would actually make myself roads, somewhat like some of these did in the videos!!!

I absolutely loved doing that!!! It was sooooo much fun, but I cannot do that now, because I gave that jeep away and I have one that I do NOT want to scratch up..UGH..sometimes, I would rather have something much older, so one would not have to worry about little things, like scratches on vehicles!!!

And believe me, when one lives around here, there are lots of dirt roads, where one can take their jeeps and have "oodles" of fun!!!

And I used to absolutely love my older cars too!!! I had a little old chevette and a ford escort, and they were both standard shifts..

I absolutely loved going down to the lower end of this Callaboose and splitting the mud holes wide open..Teeee Heee..I could go places in that standard shift Ford Escort, that 4 wheel drives could barely go and that is the "whole" truth!!!

And of course, I did like to show off, kinda made me feel good to show my hubby that I could drive wherever...TEEEE HEEEEE!!!

My ex daughter in law and I used to have sooooo much fun, when I owned my other jeep!!! We would go out filming and sight seeing on a daily basis!!!

She was a tiny little thing, and she would get on the very top of my jeep and film, with our music blasting wide open in the jeep, so it would be heard on the video..Waaay too crazy for me!!!

Nothing like having clean fun!!! Gotta love it!!!
