Yesterday, I finished gutting my bathroom that's off my bedroom. I LOVE ripping stuff apart ! LOL
After taking 3 trips to the city dump, I was tired and I was sore ! Now the room looks like a skeleton ! LOL All 2 x 4 beams and nothing else. Then I started to panic a bit because I have to put it back together again. I will take my time and do it right and I will do my best not to panic and I will have fun doing it !!!!!

I've been getting in a TON for exercise these past few weeks. My pants are much looser and I don't feel winded. This morning though, I woke up feeling kind of "punky". Yesterday, I ate breakfast and completely forgot about eating again until I sat down at about 6:30 pm. I made a bad choice for supper and went to a drive thru. Salt and sugar are NOT the 2 basic food groups ! LOL I've been eating so well, then I feed my body that crap. I should've went for a sub with lots of veggies on it, or something better than a combo # 1 at the local drive-thru. Today I'm eating well again and I'm drinking plenty of water. This morning and for the rest of the day, I will take it EASY !!!!!!!!

I've never heard that version of Friday on My Mind. It was good !

Now, one for Sunday morning !

Man O Music,
great job on the remodel job! Wish it was my bathroom! LOL... I like to paint, and move funiture around. My husband likes the chair to be in the same place. Its funny cuz I just have to move it! LOL... I like to wall paper and stencil too. Sounds like you will be busy for awhile. Good project! Have fun with it.

I bet you have been burning calories too! Thats hard work! Good for you don't forget to use your legs to lift with! LOL...

They used to play that song by Bowie, every Frid at 6:00 on our local radio. It was a kick off to the weekend!
Good "Easy" song! Good Sunday song too.
Put some good tunes on and work in your bathroom.

This came to mind, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oY3aljAO7qU

Jamierunner!! Where are you?? Come back soon
The gangs caught in tuneville and we need you to help us ;) :p

With the passing of a family friend this weekend. I was reminded how precious life is...AGAIN and how we don't really know when our time is up and when our number will be called so we need to LIVE IN THE MOMENT and Cherish it and those we love.
This gang is the best ..Love you guys and all your insights on this road to recovery!

Agree completely Jill. A friend of mine just lost a young family member tragically and I went through the same reflection. Not that we should fear what's around the corner, but that we shouldn't sweat the small stuff. I have found that IF you allow yourself to enjoy life, life will be enjoyable. It is a choice, and it's better to learn to dance in the rain than to wait for the storm to pass.

I tell myself this (when I remember) when I am going through anything difficult (from the minor event to serious things).

I am sorry for your loss Jill. I am sure you are celebrating the life of your loved one and remembering the good times.

Thanks B'gar
I only talked to this woman on the phone several times but she was like an Aunt to my husband and his sister. And they had been (they thought) helping her get back on her feet and situated here in my town where she lived many years ago.I don't fear dying or whats around the corner necessarily but I do think sometimes of those I love and how I haven't told them so in some time. Or how appreciative Iam of so many people for so many things and I can just let it go for some "other time" and that time isn't guaranteed to us. What I learned from this is to not keep loving affirmations or encouragments to myself. Everyone likes to be loved and appreciated!! We shouldn't hold back our love. Know what I mean?
Anywhoo I think the shock is wearing off and we are now realizing she was very ill and now she isn't suffering and in so much pain.
Thanks for caring Berengar I really appreciate
you :)

Hi everyone!
Yea Searunner what happened? :? We miss you! We have fallen in tune-ville and can't get out! LOL... ( I loved it Jillzmind) :D
Man O is locked in his bathroom, and we need to hear you wise words.

Jillzmind, sorry to hear about your loss. Your right on all counts too with keeping in our love and making sure we tell people how much they mean to us. Nicely put. ;)

Hi all -

Thanks for your concern. I've really been struggling with my anxiety and depression the last week and a half and just haven't had the motivation to keep up on the site. I just kept moving from one end of the spectrum to the other with no respite in between. I'm doing better now and am trying to catch up.

Jill and Beranger, I'm saddened to hear about the losses in your lives. But I am encouraged by your thoughts about how these tragedies help remind us about what's important in this life and what's not. Things like these really help to sort out our priorities.

As for Tuneville, I certainly don't mind the posts and links. I think music is such a wonderful thing. Personally, it's the art form that has the ability to affect my emotions the most.
