Sad News from Carolyn Dickman - Her Husband Has Passed
Carolyn and the staff at StressCenter asked me to pass this on to all members of the program & center...
From Carolyn:
"Paul passed at 8:30 last night (sunday night) - peace at last. He was here with all his family around him."
Carolyn, you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of Paul, he became a friend to me and many many others from around the world during his lifetime and I too will miss him, but as you said, he is home now, without pain, and at rest in God's arms.

I was told when my mom died, when a thing like this happens, it is like the Pacific Oceaon during a storm, and the waves hit fast and furious. It gets wild. Rest assured, after a while the waves will die down, and you will get periods of peace. Even after years you might still get a wave, but know that there will be peace.
I will continue to pray for you and your family

Dear Carolyn
My heart aches for your loss. Paul fought the good fight, and had you with him through it all.
There are really no words to describe what you are going through at this time. But God will give you the strength you need to get through.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.
Paul is in the safe loving arms of God our Saviour! He is once again whole, no pain, no tears.
You will be in everyones prayers here. We are regardless of difference here, like family! You are blessed with children and grandchildren who love you dearly.. May they be of comfort and peace to you during this time.... We Love You Carolyn,,, Love Nelly:)

I am so sorry for your loss. You have been such a strong person through this time, and despite your own suffering have been here for all of us. As I've shared with you, I have also lost a loved one to this horrible disease, and I know how hard it is for all involved. When my Mom died, someone shared the following with me, and I want to share with you:
Parable of Immortality
by Henry Van Dyke - 1852 - 1933
"I am standing by the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength,
and I stand and watch
until at last she hangs like a peck of white cloud
just where the sun and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says, 'There she goes!
Gone where? Gone from my sight - that is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull and spar
as she was when she left my side
and just as able to bear her load of living freight
to the places of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says,
'There she goes! ' ,
there are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout :
'Here she comes!'"
God Bless you and your family, Carolyn, you are all in my prayers and my thoughts. And Paul is watching over you now, until you meet again.
Love, Tara
