I would add for the person who spoke of the MP3's when walking, I have found a great "religious" AM radio station where I hear POSITIVE sermons when walkiing...I used to have severe anxiety about walking around a track in a local park where there were "strangers"....now it doesn't bother me!
We all have our "baby steps" to conquer, right? Praying for you!

Hi Andrew :) :) :),
I have been reading throughout some of your postings and I must say that I am thankful to hear that you are a Child of God, and that was a great song, which you shared!!!

Fear is the opposite of faith!!! I like this quote: Fear knocked at my door and "Faith" answered!!!

I use the word of God against the enemy!!! I tell him to get behind me, when those negative thoughts try to creep in...

I tell him that I am a blood bought child of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!!!

I tell him that I have the mind of Christ Jesus and that my mind is being renewed secondly, minutely, hourly and daily!!!

I tell him that God has a hedge around me and that I am very safe!!!

I tell him that if God be for me, who can be against me!!!

I tell him that I am hid under the wings of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!! The wings also represent HIS power!!!

I tell him, since I have the mindset of Christ, then I have no worries, because Jesus Christ does not worry and is not scared of anything!!!

I tell him that God has the two angels (goodness and mercy) following me all the days of my life!!!

I tell him that he don't stand a chance with me, because I was bought by a great price the Precious Blood of the Lamb!!!

I plead the blood of Christ Jesus over my mind and body, and I say to the enemy..."In the name of Christ Jesus and by HIS blood, you must flee, or I demand you to flee"

We have much power after we have been "born again"...satan can't touch a single hair on our heads!!!

We are "joint heirs" with Christ Jesus!!! And HE takes excellent care of HIS very own!!!

The very best way to overcome any type of fear is to bring our each and every single thought in alignment with what Christ Jesus thinks about it...ASK OURSELVES WHAT HE WOULD THINK AND HOW HE WOULD REACT IN ANY GIVEN SITUATION!!!

And I think this Scripture is a great way to begin, because it teaches us what we are to think upon!!!

Philippians 4:8

4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I pray you have a wonderful night all safe, secure and sheltered beneath the wings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

Gopens: I read your posts with much interest. You are doing so well - growing stronger each day - please know that God is in control of your life not your anxiety and His plan is for your full recovery. Life is hard and anxiety is very easy to creep into our daily lives. Like you I suffered with anxiety and depression for many years but this year I decided to change my life with God's leading and the program. It has turned me around completely - I am a new creation with much hope and promise for the future. I'm believing for you a complete turnaround as I have experienced - a new life to live free from anxiety and depression-all fears removed and a new life filled with joy and purpose. This I believe is God's plan for your life- trust Him gopens - and watch Him perform a miracle in your life as He has mine. Your Christian friend - dakota

Hey folks, hope all is well.

I have not been on for a few days.

Things have been pretty goods for me. I need to start really pushing my limits. I have been doing pretty good with what limitations I have worked on. I am able to do many things now. I even went to a big get-together at a local pizza place and did very well. It was PACKED, but did well. So I am happy as all this goes. I just need to get back to work knowing I will be ok. Its just scary. God Bless

Thanks for this great post. I know the lord is there and will always make sure I'm ok. I do trust in him. I just need to have more faith.

Thanks dakota

Hi Gopens-

I was interested in your statement that you need to have more faith. I used to say that all the time. But-- I fixed it. It's way better and I'm not jealous of others like I used to be. I joined an indepth bible study and really started picking apart the Bible, and thru that I relaxed and grew in knowledge and understanding and TADA.. my faith increased. No one else can do it for you and wishing it to be so doesn't work. I've tried both ways.

I'm glad you are doing well. You are a great inspiration to many.

yeah I see what your saying. I have been digging into the book of Mathew. I try so hard to just dedicate some time to the Bible, but I always find other things to do. I need to spend way more time in the word.
