THH and mjcreate,

Thank you both for your supportive posts.

mjcreate,

An interview to keep your job?! I have never heard of that. I guess that's better than a superior(s) flat out make the decision to let you go. PLEASE, PLEASE let us know what happens. You'll be great, and calm. :)

Perhaps this month is going to be the one. :)

I had two phone interviews today, and an in-person one tomorrow. One of today's interviews resulted--within an hour--of getting to the next level of interviewing, which will be in New Jersey on Monday. Also next week on Tuesday, I have an interview in Connecticut (for a customer service gig.) All the others are sales jobs.

I am remaining cautiously optimistic. I am also not saying whether an interview was good or bad because the good ones ended with me hearing echoes :D, and the bad ones resulted in the next round of interviews.

Additionally, I am just being myself in the interviews. Sure I study the companies and have answers for standard interview questions, but I am now I am selling myself. That's not to say I am telling jokes or stuff. I am still professional in my responses and come across as a serious candidate. But now I guess I am believing in myself more, and adding that to the mix.

Wow! After reading this, I had to pause and catch my breath! Charlie Brown, you may too. Sometimes when we are so closely affected to the end results of something we yearn for, so close to it, we begin the spiral effect....

To keep the spiral from us we must stop, BREATHE, and SIMPLY be. Easy words, harder actions. Less is More. Think about it, please. Winks.

So Chuck ! You act like you don't need the job ! LOL Interesting approach. It's so backwards it's brilliant ! LOL I think that if I'm in that position, I may steal your idea.

Actually now that you mention it, the days I go in to work with an "I don't need the money" attitude, are the days that go really well. I think you're on to something Chuck !

I think that you should still dress appropriately for the interview though.

This could be the month Chuck.

I like that: "Easy words, harder actions." It's true.

Good stuff, SmilesandWink.
