Okay, you're smart people.
When I get a new job, how do I make sure that I break the negative cycles in my life and start new positive cycles that bring success?
Instead of, wearing a scowl, getting frustrated, having desk rage, getting paranoid, thinking negative self talk, having a short fuse, bad mouthing people, bringing up my personal problems.... ect, what can I replace those with?
On the other hand, I am funny and generous.
I want to get started on a new leaf. I want employers to want to keep me.
Any suggestions?
new cycles for a new job?

Morning King Peace,
You sound so much like my brother!!
BUT you have one great thing going for you - you recognize how you have been reacting! That is a great first step to change!
Replace them with positive reactions. If you have the program, go over the lessons 3-4 and week 6 is a great refresher on anger.
There will always be people who can push our buttons and act like jerks BUT our REACTION to them is what can cause us to remain at peace or get frustrated and upset. Change your reaction and you will change your life!! It's hard - believe me I know - but it does make a big difference in the long run.
Build on the good qualities that you already see in yourself - being funny and generous.
Take a step back when needed - if possible - excuss yourself for a few minutes to gain your composure.
You already have great insight into yourself so you do have a great start. Just taking the steps - little ones at first - will all add up to great changes!
