life is good - and it's a long post!

honey - i went as a passenger. i did drive for about 30 minutes on the way back but then the car owner wanted control back LOL i was invited along by somone who knows about my driving situation.

i look at it like this - take me the way i am or leave me alone. either way i'm still who i am - whether here at home or at the beach.

my sister and i are going to the beach sometime in late july for a week. now that is the big getaway!!!! me, sister, her 2 children and 2 of their friends. last summer we had more fun than anyone. this year will be even better. why? because we know how to party and enjoy our time together.

never feel badly because you are the way you are right now. don't burden yourself with unnecessary baggage. it can weigh you down and keep you from moving forward as fast as you want to go! oh how i do know!!!!

love yourself. you're worth it!!!!

YAY!!! Here's Karma! So glad you are back....I bow to you for taking such a long trip and ENJOYING it. I have so much trouble with traveling and you and Jillzmind and forever young are just zipping around everywhere - I am jealous. Now, what will we do when you are gone for a week!??! See if you can locate M of M. Maybe he escaped from Home Depot and he's at the beach!

Can'tdance I think I am a champion at driving but I am lucky if I get 5.5 miles one way at this point..haha. Baby steps baby steps

Any and every step towards and out of the front door is a Happy Dance moment in my book!!

you know the thing is we are all at different levels but we feel the same pain. what one can't do another can but we have the same condition panic disorder, agrophobia, anxiety, what ever label you want to put on it it still feels very painful. Just thinking about getting out of my comfort zone increased my anxiety till I was in an anxious state all day.I know karma you have been where we are right now as reading the beginning of this thread. I am so glad you are moving forward and not going backwards that is an inspiration to all of us your sharing in your accomplishments good for you keep up the good work you go girl maybe some day I can go to the beach or at least go somewhere I would like to be able to go to a town a 100 miles away that is only 2 hours I will get there one step at a time I need to start working on driving to the town that is 12 miles away I have intended to do that everyday this week well the week is almost gone lets go.Thanks for sharing it helps all of can't dance I am sure there is positive for you too like I said we all feel the same pain of panic even though differnt places and things bring it on there is only one way out and that is thru it don't like it but thats it hope all have a good day today is my last work day till tuesday and got get outa here

I WAS LOCKED IN HOME DEPOT FOR 6 DAYS !!! LOL

Actually, they let me out each time I went. I needed a different type of grout (cement) stuff for the pavers outside the back door. I used sand type stuff and we ended up getting a ton of rain all in about 10 minutes and it washed all of the sand out onto the driveway. There's a bit of a slope on the walkway and the sand went WOOOOOOSH onto the driveway. After I do that, the backyard's DONE !!!!!! I can officially rest for the rest of the summer.

Today is Canada Day. I ended up working today and they're giving us tomorrow off instead. 3 DAY WEEKEND !!!!! WOOOHOOOOOOOO !!!!! That'll give me more time to go to Home Depot !!!! just kidding....I think.

Karma - Glad you had an awesome time away ! Hope you caught some sun for me too !!!!

Jill - I'm ALWAYS behaving. If I get out of line, they kick me out of Home Depot LOL I don't like it when they yell at me ! LOL

Well.....it's time for me to begin the 3 day weekend !

Short answer: Canada's Birthday - July 1 1867.

Longer Answer: It's when Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (the British Colonies) joined the Province of Canada. At that time, the Province of Canada split into 2 and became Ontario and Quebec. The rest of the provinces formed after July 1 1867, but we still call it Canada's birthday.

How's everyone doing today ?

It's awesome weather today ! It's 82 and no humidity at all ! The sun is shining bright and it's one of those days to just kick back with the tunes.

The backyard is DONE !!!!! I was going to put up a railing, but I don't think it needs it. As soon as I get my hands on a digital camera I'll download some pictures.

Karma ! - I could never travel 5 hours in a car. I'd be jumping out the window ! LOL I'll bet you're really looking forward to the next trip to the beach. Take the time off. You deserve it.

Jill - You should go to the beach with Karma. If you can do a 5 hour trip, you can do ANYTHING !

Hey everyone, Long time since I have been on, Hot summer here in NJ. I see everyone has been busy and having a grand ole' time. Glad to hear it!!! Dont recognize too many of the old folk on the center anymore....they disappeared.....creamcheesepuff

partied like a rock star with friends over the 3 day weekend - cook outs and swimming parties. it was so much fun doing things i've not done in so long!

i'm waiting - we all are - for pictures of your transformed back yard! i've managed to yet again turn my pool green. being salt water now that's supposed to be impossible. well i've prove them wrong LOL

i've been so pretty good at getting to work semi on time. today i overslept and was 30 minutes late - blast it all. getting ready for bed right now so maybe i'll remember to get up in the morning!!!! LOL
