Hey,Ya'll need to get together and do a commercial for Home Depot! MofM: I'm not trying to be a smart*#* but couldn't you get a gas grill that has a tank. We have one on our dock but we can move it wherever. It sounds like you will have plenty of beautiful scenery! Karma...I am as jealous of your chairs as I am of Man's bubbler rock and japanese maple. I wish I could see them! Last night we had a storm so we got to watch lightening AND lightening bugs at the same time - how cool is that! ROCK ON!

Holy cow Karma! I knew we had a lot in common - my birthday is next Saturday. Have a wonderful time at your luncheon, it sounds like so much fun! Being happy is a glorious gift and I'm so glad that you are. This thread has been (and still is ) a gift to me.......thanks so much.......you deserve to be happy. If I knew how I would send you a gift certificate to Home Depot! I am picturing you going there and saying,"Excuse me, I have this imaginary gift certificate I'd like to use" Ha Ha! Call the men in white coats

it was a fun luncheon although i think i worried a few people because i was so quiet LOL when everyone was finished with their salads, i took the 3 BIG bowls and just picked through them getting the red onions and black olivies that had been left behind. for some reason, people thought that odd. to me it's perfectly reasonable LOLOL

i took my hour and a half off today and am taking 1/2 day tomorrow IF it's nice. if it's raining, no way! i came home a little after 3:30 and sat in the sun - it was wonderful.

i simply can NOT wait to start painting my VINTAGE lawn chairs! mama's on her way over now. i may have to start once she gets here so she can see the beauty of the new paint. trust me, it's not something she's in to - not at all LOL x forever

this thread with all the positive input from people is more fun than anything!!!!

wow wish I had your energy, but you are younger than I am could have something to do with it I am trying to get my pool open it is taking forever have had the cover off for almost a week and just getting the pump put back on and enought water to get it running it is full of junk and a little green can;t find my brush I thought I bought one last year I can;t keep up with anything.
karma I take a small dose of an anti depressant called imipramine it is a very old one but was supposed to be very good at treating panic attacks it kept me from becoming house bound in the 80s I would love to get off of it been on it so long but feel like I need to get better before I can and maybe will never be off it if it was going to hurt me looks like it would have before now my heart palpations are some better the magnesium usually take them away probably stress related I need to get my windows washed and my back porch opened up my wicker furniture is still covered up in plastic but it is too cool to sit out there at night like I like to do. tomorrow is thurday and I am off friday yaaaaa

i can never find anything either. the most dreaded words around here are "it's somewhere in the house" LOL

there's just something about a green pool that beats a person down. been there year after year. that's the main reason i switched over to salt water.

getting the house from winter to spring and summer is work. but it's worth it! right now i actually look forward to getting home and enjoying my yard - something i didn't do last year.

today i got some sun - not as much as i'd like. it almost makes me bitter that my brother and sister can walk into the sun and get a deep dark tan while i have to work on it all summer!!! just a few days out of the sun and i'm blindingly white again LOL

mama and i walked around the lake twice tonight. her dizziness is better. she's taking mucinex and antivert. i know i've been a tad dizzy too - and mine is sinus. i'd rather be beat than be dizzy!!!!

i've got to check the weather to make sure it's sunny tomorrow. if so, i'm off work for 4 and a half days - yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy

several people asked me what i have planned for my birthday weekend. when i got all excited telling them about my outside projects they shook their heads and said i really know how to party LOL x forever to each his/her own!!!!!!!!!!

hope everybody's tomorrow rocks!

Happy Birthday Karma !!

I hope you have a nice relaxing 4.5 days off.

The weather here in CO. has been nice. A high of 80 and breezy. Last night I had some victories and triumphs. I went with my hubby and in-laws to watch our niece get her high school diploma. The auditorium was for parents only so we had to go to the overflow room and it was pretty packed and I got anxious but just moved myself to the back and felt better and stayed to enjoy. And it was very nice . Afterward hubby and I went for a short drive. We haven't been together in the car for more than 4 blocks, in almost a year! But we went about 2 miles to check out this office complex and it was nice.Oh and I did eat some take out at my in-laws too. I know those are all things that may be no big deal to some but they are all things I haven't been able to do in Ages and if I did do them I was Miserable the whole time. Last night I was at ease and it was so nice. It's nice how one success leads to others. It has that domino effect and gives us the boost to keep on keeping on. Now once I get to
the dentist next week and get my icky toofers out I will be one Happy Camper! :D
Have a great weekend everyone:)
xoxo~

jill the imipramine is an anti depressant but it is suppose to stop panic attacks at a high enough dosage so the book I read and articles years ago it did get me back on the road again I was almost house bound I could only go short distances almost with in sight of my house I live in the country 7 miles from the small town were banks drs etc are. now I drive there by myself even work 3 more miles from this town drive a total whopping 10 miles at times as I am driving home I think I remember when I couldn't do this not even with my husband now that is the thing with me some people can go anywhere as long as they have their safe person not so with me so jill I have been there I know what it is like I still am having trouble with longer distances I just need more work at one time I almost made it out went 50 plus miles with my hubby had a slight set back and been here for 3 yrs time to get on the road again had fun with my gandbaby she is a doll tomorrow is suppose to be nice can't wait had a rainy week today started out with storms hope the rest of week is better karma so great you have a good relationship with your mom I used to have with mom we have our ups and downs we are up again putting the past behind us got a lot of bridges to cross and need to burn them so I can't find my way back

Karma !!! Happy belated birthday ! Hope it was a good time ! did I read that you have a green pool again, or were you talking about before you switched to salt ?

I've spent my fair share of time in home Depot this week. I'm getting more prices for blocks for outside my back door. I went to a landscape place after work today and got a yard of screening (finely crushed rock) to put underneath the blocks (keeps them from sinking). It's heavy stuff, but I toughed it out and shovelled it out of the back of my truck and raked it smooth. Now all I need is the blocks.

This weekend is the Canadian long weekend. I'm off until Tuesday !!!!!!!!! yeeeehhaaaaaaaaaaa

I went to the Daily Om site. I didn't get a chance to really go thru it yet. I will do that this weekend.

Hope everyone is having an excellent start to the weekend

Time for me to get ready to hit the hay ! I'm so tired right now. I loaded the back of my truck with stuff for the dump. I'm headed off there first thing tomorrow morning (8:00). After this trip, the house and yard will be clean and free of clutter. (An accomplishment I've been waiting to get to for over 15 years now) LOL

Have an awesome night and a productive (or restful) day tomorrow !
