I have only seen Carolyn do one post in the year I have gone onto the forum--that was to the lady who said she was being abused. I think a lot of stuff used to go on that has disappeared--no more Less Stress Press, etc. So its kind of like the blind leading the blind:) But we do get some good, helpful posts--you just have to pick and choose. If you want personal help, that will cost you about $2100 for 10 30 minute sessions.

There were never any professional help on here. The StressCenter.com never said anything about having free professional help on this site.

I beg to differ Dee in the litterature I received it clearly states that the peer support group is a place where those going through the program as well as trained proffesionals can communicate with each other I am not trying to get proffesional help for free but I do see alot of postings that could definately use the proffesional touch. That is all I am trying to say no offense meant to anyone. I promise! Le Ann

There are peer support forums on here for people that are going through the program. That started within the last 2 years but it is strictly peer support of course there are some veteran posts in there as well but that I do not think is the peer support groups that they are talking about. StressCenter.com holds peer support groups but those are in person groups and not on the forums. This unfortunately is not the best place to find out about this service. You'd have a more accurate response by contacting StressCenter.com directly.

You are also right there are alot of posts that could be more professional but this forum is suited for peer support. Its used to share our experiences to benefit others and there is alot of wisdom in experience.

I do not know of where it mentions a promise of this help you mentioned. Could you direct me to that statement?

It is "peer support" available on here and not "professional support". Peer support is simply support from others like you who are taking the program. Professionals may pop in from time to time, that would be their choice and they would not need to hold themselves out as professionals.

Thus, you will have to read the posts with a grain of salt and garner from them advice that might seem applicable to you. There are some great posts on here, but also some not so great.

But for professional advice from StressCenter.com, you would need to talk with them and it can be costly.

Thank you Ninja I meant that some of the postings could use advice from a trained professional that was I all I was saying. The info I am talking about is on the introduction cd and video somewhere in the beginning of each tape Ninja.

Thank you flyer I am just concerned with everyone else I guess That is one of my weakness' that I tend to not only worry about other people but also to feel their pain as well. God bless and God speed to one and all! Le Ann

Now my program is most likely diffrent from yours since i got mine back in 2004. I may not have those items you speak of. I know there was an intro video in my collection, I gatta check through my pack.

You are like alot of us then if you worry alot about others but keep in mind wisdom comes through experience, not textbooks. It all comes down to empathy which gives us the understanding to really help others. Professionals definately have alot of resources to help us out but they aren't always the most helpful. Understanding and I mean real pure understanding makes the diffrence. As for the suffering, unfortunately it is inevitable but you coudl see it the way that i do, they are on this path for a reason.
