i've been taking ativan .5 mg for since may and have started to notice they don't work as good as they once had and been getting anxiety and some small panic attacks more frequent now and kind of gets me down about it. i was prescribed zoloft 50 mg back in august but never took it because i ended up kind of getting over depression but anxiety was way more of a problem. so i'm wondering if taking zoloft would help me with my anxiety or not? i've talked to a few people that take zoloft for dep an some for panic attacks an anxiety. so j/w wats up

I have also been on zoloft that worked in conjunction with klonopin for my panic disorder. I am now pregnant and unfortunatley have to get off both but it did wonders for me. I think the klonopin was more helpful but you won't know until you give it a shot. Good luck.

I have not been on this sight in a while . but i take zoloft 200mg yes that is a lot I had bad anxiety and panic wouldnt go out of the house. So thats why I'm on such a high dose.I was on lexapro which i loved but it stoped working in one day . So now i'm on Zoloft .It might take some time it took 2 months for me for it to click in. but it has been working for over a year . The only side effect I found was weight gain but sometimes when your on meds like these you sometimes don't care what you eat I think that is why people blame it on the meds. I have gained alot but I look back and I have eaten really bad so maybe it's not the meds it is me . But to make a long story short lol. Go for it they can always change it Good luck . if you need to chat my email is sheilo_1958@yahoo.com . good luck and HAPPY NEW YEAR

I am presently on Klonopin .5 mg., and my doc switched me from Zoloft to Celexa. I find that I haven't been having those depressive moods as often. Zoloft made me lose my sex drive...completely! Celexa does the same thing, but I don't think it's quite as potent.

All of the meds cause weight gain, as they slow our metabolism down so much. Eventually, maybe we'll all be sharing about how we're off of our meds! :)

I have been on a variety of meds over the past years. It seems like zoloft is the one that I keep going back to. However, recently I started taking Zanax .5 mg each morning to see if that would help with the generalized anxiety that I always!! seem to have. So I take 50mg of Zoloft every nt and .5mg of zanax in the am.
Along with the anxiety and depression cd's and learning to change my negative thoughts into positive ones, I feel amazingly different.

Hi all, All I can tell you that i watched a program called"addicted to pills" last night. Zanax is the most addicting prescription out the. Even more so then opioids pain Killers. After you start taking them you become dependent on the and then need even more for the euphoric feeling. More people have tried to overdose on them b/c they can't face problems without them. If possible try to stay away from any of these medicines. I was on zanax for 4 years and had to go to hospital to detox off them. Even ativan or knolopin are harmful for you. I know it sounds easier said easier said then done but you must try to get your life together without them.

Good Luck Tigerfan
