Here is an incredible and helpful article I came across. I have been the king of job search frustration, and this piece on Yahoo was extremely helpful to me.

This is so true. I have applied at LOTS of places online and NEVER have heard back from any of them. It just feels like wasted time that I spend applying, posting my resume, and never hearing a single word from anyone! I would prefer applying for a job in person, and following up with a contact person, but these days it is all done over the internet, and it really sucks! Thanks for posting Charlie. :)

You're welcome jillzmind and BookofPsalms. :)

I remember my mother telling me back in her day (the 40s, 50s) it was one interview, and they told you right there "yes" or "no." Now you have to interview everyone from the porter to the president of the company. I am going on my third interview for this one sales gig this afternoon.
