This same thing is going on with me. I thought I was doing it for some sort of "shock value". Sometimes I say and do things just to see how I'll react to it. But it usually doesn't linger for more than a few days. However, these blasphemous thoughts are getting worse and worse day by day and will not go away. I'm constantly thinking about them and asking for forgiveness. It is starting to make me sick to my stomach.

Hi Everyone, :) :) :)
I am soooo sorry that you are having these type of thoughts!!! I would not give these thoughts any "weight", since, you would not be concerned about them, if that was who you are, or what you are about!!!

Remember, any "type" of thought can "pop" into our minds, and we are NOT OUR THOUGHTS, WE ARE OUR ACTIONS!!!

God looks upon your hearts and HE knows that you hate these thoughts!!!

If you think it will be of any help to you, feel more than free to read throughout my new thread entitled (Our Very Own Safe Haven) in the "Spirituality" section of this forum!!!

There are so many "uplifting" songs and there are quotes, Biblical scriptures, and all "types" of "goodies" in there!!!

I would just "focus" on Jesus and not concern myself with these thoughts!!!

He knows how much you "hate" what you are thinking, and that is what "really" matters...

I am soooo thankful that He looks upon our hearts to see if the blood has been applied..

I pray each of you have a wonderful night and that God blesses you with many "peaceful" thoughts...Love, Cloie

BTW: I do believe that "Satan" does try his best to do "numbers" on our minds!!! It is his job to try and "torment" us, but "Praise God" he cannot touch one hair on our heads, if we have been "born again"

He is working very hard to discourage "God's children" but, that does not mean we have to give these "continuous" lies any significance!!!

I have "noticed" in my own "personal walk" with our Lord and Savior, that every single time Satan tries to torment my mind, something good is just over the horizon!!!

For example, I went through a very "trying" time before my DIL got saved!!! Satan was placing "lies" inside of my mind and I was going through such a "Spiritual" battle...

God pulled through for me, and I realized that Satan was doing these things, because He knew that God was going to do something "great" very soon!!!

I must say when these "negative obsessive thoughts" pop into your mind, then please just realize that it is the tactics of the enemy, and he is on his job...

I think the next time that he tries to torment my mind, that I will just say, "Satan I know this is you and I do not believe anything you say"

We know as children of God, that much stronger is HE that is in us, than he that is in this world!!!

We are more than "overcomers" through Jesus Christ, our Lord!!!

I get most angry at God when someone I love has been taken away from me. I have felt so strongly. First of all I couldnt understand why a loving God would punish his GOOD people on earth with bad things...it doesnt make sense to me. Job in the Bible is proof of real stamina from a human being. However....after I calm down I feel better. I do believe that GOD allows you to be angry at Him afterall we are Humans with human emotions. We have to react otherwise illness ensues...we need to vent. Its good for the soul. But as long as we dont intentionally harm or hurt others in the process. In my opinion I think God deserves a tongue lashing. He did create everything.....who else is there to blame really? I admit I drift, I may say things that I regret, but we all do....Lets put it this way.....if you didnt believe He was there you would blasphermous to NO GOD at all! So it makes you a true believer, you are actually verbalizing to a real God.....and I believe He knows that. He forgives us all. Afterall when we were kids we yelled at our parents once in a while, we got punished for it, took the consequences and then all is forgiven....God is our Father in Heaven.....a parent in a way....He could take it.....but we should try to redirect it(our anger) to be more beneficial in our lives in the long run. Like an artist painting on a canvas or running the track, punching a bag, working out, etc.We could express our anger this way. creamcheese

First off i will stand up for my God and What I believe in. God does not deserve a tongue lashing!! That in itself is blasphemous and reveals the heart, because u think he deserves it!! God deserves our praise, honor and Glory!! How could u say he deserves anything different??That Baffles my mind how a so called christian could say that may God Forgive u and Jesus wash u in his own Blood!! You said: "He did create everything.....who else is there to blame really?" Are u serious have u allowed Satan to fill u full of lies?? My God created the heaven and the earth, the angles and Adam and Eve, get this through your head GOD DIDN'T CREATE EVIL. God can do no evil for he is a Just and Holy God. When man sinned that created illness, sickness, evil and the such like!! Do u realize that only after Cain and Abel was born was the first murder!! Just 1 generation, we humans are to Blame, u may say well I wasn't there I would have done it different, No u wouldn't have they were in a perfect place and they sinned.

Repent of this wicked u have said please!! My Bible says that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all, so how could u say that God created everything which implies that he also made evil? u need to study the Bible!!

What makes u a true believer is believing that Christ was born of a Virgin, lived a sinnless life, did many miricles, Died on a cross taking the sin of the whole world upon him, 3 days later he resurrected and 40 days later he ascended into heaven where he sits on the right hand of God! And when u trust him for your all in all when u steak your eterinty on him then are u saved(True Beilever). I don't have to go to a priest or say hail marys because she can't save me I go to Christ directly in prayer. My Bible is complete and without error not needing any book added 2 it. You find statues in The Caloith Church that is Idolitry, this is not a guess read the Bible, there was Idols in the temple in Old Testiment but were later thrown out. Listen read your Bible find out for yourself, because when u know the truth, the truth will set u free!! What is the truth ? My Lord and Savior said it best while praying to the Father he said " Thy word is Truth". And I know u didn't say any thing about praying to mary but it needed 2 be said so that others can get out of the snare of Satan. Please read your Bible and Find out 4 yourself, Don't listen to someone who says I'm a preist and can forgive sins, for I have the Great High Priest so why would I need to go to a human?

I was born Catholic, I have seen the Church change over the years and most of the changes I didnt care for. I respect other faiths and their beliefs. I do believe in God, that will never change. But I cannot change what I feel in my heart. If its the Devil or evil, I have gotten through it. I come back.God never leaves me I believe He just allows me this time to vent..... I think I have the right to verbalize my feelings to God if I am angry or sad.AFterall if I didnt believe in Him I wouldnt verbalize anything to Him at all! So...I think He is a great listener and provider. The best psychiatrist in the Universe. If HE created us He understands this.....Religion is a tough topic to discuss. Such as is Politics. We are in a questioning talkative information world. And with all due respect for you and me I think I deserve to talk to God in a good or bad way...I think He would like to hear your negative opinions as well as Good. Sorry if I offend anyone in your beliefs.....but this is mine. Creamcheese

Hi Everyone,
I would love to share a few scriptures with you concerning how Jesus was "tempted" by satan...

<< Matthew 4 >>
King James Bible
1 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

I don't know if Jesus was literally having a "conversation" with satan by mouth, or if Satan was placing these thoughts in his mind...

Okay, let's try and link these other Scriptures and see what happens...

(John 1:1-3) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

{2} The same was in the beginning with God.

{3} All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

(John 1:14) "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

(Heb 1:3) "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"

(Heb 2:9) "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man."

(Heb 2:16) "For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham."

(Heb 4:15-16) "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

{16} Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

(Phil 2:5-11) "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

{6} Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

{7} But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

{8} And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

{9} Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

{10} That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

{11} And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

I think it makes sense that Satan can place any type of "scary" "negative" or "obsessive" thoughts into our minds!!!

I am turning this little thread back over to it's original owner and I am going to bed ;)

Goodnight to All...I pray those "peaceful" thoughts replace those "scary obsessive ones" so everyone will get a great night's rest!!!

As my life continues I find myself becoming more attuned to what our lives are really about.
I pondered on new things and interests. I however always felt that God forgot me along the way....but then I feel up again because I was empowered to do so. I feel better. I do not get obsessed with negative or evil thoughts. I dont know what defines EVIL it sounds really really bad. I have never been in that category in my life and...I on occasion do read the Bible. I particulary liked the Psalms.
God will never leave my life. Although sometimes He has felt like He left me. creamcheese.

Good Morning my dear friend cream cheese, :) :) :)

My dear friend, God will never ever forget you!!! I pray that you trust me on that one!!!

I have lost soooooo many loved ones to death, and I know how painful this can be!!! I totally empathize with you, my dear friend!!!

The Bible says that "precious in his eyes is the death of one of His saints"

It also says that far better is it to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord!!!

I was thinking upon these things last night!!!

At least, we have a "hope" of meeting our loved ones and friends again and that is a very good thing :) :) :)

When we "grasp" the fact, that this is not our "final" home, then we can fully understand that God is not doing us an "injustice" by taking our loved ones to their "Eternal Home"...

Also, God is not "out to get us"...I would love it, if you would go over to that thread, which I began called (Our very own safe haven) and read that posting, where I shared that video named "He raised me up"...

I am not "asking" you to post anything, but I really do believe that "posting" and video will help you tremendously to see what I am talking about ;)

Jesus suffered more than either of us could ever begin to imagine in this life, and He died so you and I could live again!!!

And I was also thinking amongst these lines...Can you remotely begin to imagine how over populated this world would be, if no one ever died??? :?

I also love reading the book of Psalms!!! It is one of my very favorites!!! It is soooo "uplifting".... ;)

If we have been "born again" then, we are HIS very own!!! He will never leave or forsake us, but go with us, even unto the very end of this world!!!

I love you soooo very much and I pray you have a beautiful day filled with much laughter, sunshine and joy!!! Love, Cloie
