I have found that dealing with being down is debilitating but a learning experience. I find out something different about my inner self and other who deal with me on a day to day basis.
I call it Mind management. The inner self can overwhelm your outer activities with fear, anxiety and the blahs. If you consider this a challenge to be conquered you will overcome.
Everything here is a challenge, Accepting and adapting is so important as we progress on this planet. Positive as well as negative change is essential. No balance in life can be acquired without them, One needs the other. Look at things differently, rearrange them, reverse them, do anything do give you a different perspective surrounding these happenings. But dont lose yourself in the muck and mire. Life preservers are out there. And this site is one of them. When we were young we were trained to take care of a vital function that just had to be done....potty training......its the same rationale here.......to eliminate what is not necessary in our lives. When we are through we feel relieved and go on with our lives....But time has to be taken out every day to deal with it.....even though its an inconvenience in our lives.. creamcheese
Almost like Potty training..
Anyone suffering from depression may post their history, experience, comments and/or suggestions. Please refrain from indepth discussions about medicines or other therapies.
