Be sure to go and get Lucinda's book.
From Panic to Power.
It has so many good stories and examples of Lucindas personal anxious moments and it also
covers most of the program in the short form.
I am reading it along with doing the program and I am really enjoying it and getting alot
of inspiration from it.My hubby bought it for me at Borders Book store and it was only
13 dollars. Totally doable.
Run out and get it, you won't regret it!

Oh and this book is available at most libraries too. We had a few copies in town here but the wait for them was too long. So many anxious people I guess? Anyway I know money is tight everywhere. That's what is so great about the library is that its FREE :D
(assuming you don't have to pay late fees :p )

This is what I did. I could not afford the program so I got the book from the library and fortunately was able to renew it several times!

The book was really helpful, but the program is really worth it's weight in gold. Not too long after reading through the book I got a special price on the program and made the investment.

I can't stress enough how valuable this program is...if you have to eat rice and beans for a month to afford the program, it's worth it and you'll probably get healthy in the long run both mentally and physically!

You won't be disappointed. The program is work, it's not 'magic'...but it gives you the tools you need to move forward and get unstuck.

Shif
I agree. But so many on here seem to not have the money and this is a good start. I have both too. No regrets.

I have seen Carolyn write on here that they can help those in a true financial bind, and there is also a daily giveaway for the program on the main page. To some that is a lifesaver. To others it's just a matter of shifting around their financial priorities for a couple of months. Some spend more on doctors and meds with little results and lots of side-effects.

Living in the precious present moment.
Heres some cool stuff from the book, some tips.

"When we're fearfully anticipating the future or obsessing about the past, We're wasting precious present moments. How do we bring ourselves back to the present? Here's a series of questions you can ask yourself that will bring you back into the moment.
Who is here with me?
What am I touching?
What do I smell?
What do I hear?
What can I see?
Who is around me?

Open your eyes and look around. Let your senses bring you back to exactly where you are. Give 100% of yourself to right now." pg.98

This is some great stuff and I think you'd really enjoy these practical helps.
