My YouTube Perspective on Motivation...
Hi Steve,
Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this video for us. It is really helpful, especially to people new to the program. You are absolutely right. We can be starving and have a feast laid out before us, but unless we eat, we are still starving. Unless we actually WORK the program, we won't improve.

Oh Steven! What can I say about you and what you have just done for me? You are wonderful! You have just helped me so much!
I'm finding it so hard to do things. It's so hard for me to go places. I've had 2 sisters die recently and I've been having it hard! I'm even being harsh with my children without knowing it. They just let me know this. It hurts so much! They are so important to me!
I cry so much these days! Folks are tired of seeing me cry! I'm crying now. Lol
I just wanted to say thank you Steven for your videos!! They are helping to push me in the right direction!

Hi Steven,
Thank you so much for this video. I agree with your thoughts on motivation. I especially liked the last part where you suggest to live in the present. Absolutely! Eckhart Tolle expresses this so well in his books, especially in "The Power of the Now".
Dr. Wayne Dyer has a beautiful description of life. He says to stand at the back of a boat and look at the wake in the water. Can the wake move the boat? No. It is the same with life... our past cannot move us, but our present can. think of the present, the now, and dwell there. As you mentioned, we cannot control the future. Similarly, we cannot control the past. It is only the present that we can control.
If we can learn to accept the present and to make it the best we can. Think positively, laugh even though we have nothing to laugh about, wave away those negative thoughts and emotions. And take life step by step, little by little... and we will arrive where we want to be.
Thank you Steven, you are a God Send to these boards.
God Bless!
Bob.

Thanks Steve you are so very much correct. God has given us everything we need. We just need to take those first steps. Like one of my favorite passages in the bible where Peter is to walk on the water toward Jesus and he does till he looks down (circumstances) and loses his focus on the Lord and panics.
Thanks again for your great insight and
