life is good - and it's a long post!

in a few minutes i'll be on my way with mama yet again to the - mall. go figure. hadn't been there in forever and a day, now it's becoming a ritual LOL she bought 3 shirts at macy's that don't work for her so it's exchange time.

it's very cold here. i don't think the thermastat in the hallway is right - it doesn't go down far enough LOL there's ice in the back yard.

i was going to wear long johns under my jeans but since the jeans are just out of the dryer, that's not going to happen LOL

two positive things about going back to work tomorrow for me - there will be heat and i will get to see so many friends. and again, i am very good at my job - something that makes me very happy.

warming up the car now and getting ready to party like a rock star LOL

Hope all went smooth at the mall ! Was it crowded there ? I'm shaking just thinking about it ! LOL

Ok ok ok.....2 positive things about going to work tomorrow....ummmmm.......ummmm......a paycheck.....and ummmm........ummmm......ummmmm.......ummmmm....
things probably won't be as bad as I'm catastrophizing them to be.....is there such a word as catastrophizing......how about awfulizing......

I did have a small knot in my stomach today, but I just breathed and relaxed. I actually fell asleep for a bit !

Hope all goes well for you at work tomorrow and I hope that 2010 brings nothing but the best. How's THAT for a positive attitude ?!?!? LOL

the mall was fine - and dillards - where we actually had to go - wasn't crowded at all. i'm thinking that's because they've overpriced themselves?

it's cold here. i didn't know if the water pipes were frozen but the dishwasher IS working!!!

i've got warm clothes picked out for tomorrow as i don't know how this new building we're in will hold heat! the weather says it may snow thursday. start laughing now about southerners driving in the snow. it's not pretty - at all.

the boys are snuggled up in the bed with me. my big black dog is shaking - he doesn't like the cold at all. he's not going to be happy tomorrow being outside but there's really not a choice.

speaking of choices - i've made mine. it's still the happily indifferent or indifferently happy. i just want to make sure i get up on time!!!! i've set the alarm and am checking it twice - santa claus!!! LOL i want time to start my car a few minutes early for warmth!!!

your last several weeks of work were stellar. remember that!!! and you went in last monday to happy faces - again, remember!!

we're both going to have a good day tomorrow. it's written in the stars.

I partied like a rock star today !!!!!!!!!!! It was an excellent day today. I worried for nothing yet again....that's me ! LOL

It's not often you get snow way down south ! I'm laughing already ! LOLOLOLOLOL Do you know how to use a snow shovel ? There are probably instructions on the internet somewhere ! LOL

Make sure your house stays kind of warm. You don't want the water pipes to burst.

.......southerners driving in the snow....LOLOLOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can't stand it ! LOLOLOL HAhahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I think I may try to deal with the mall later on in the month since there won't be as many people there. If I have to run for the door, I'll be able to do it without hurting anyone.

How was work for you today ? Hope you partied like a rock star too.

I'm stealing that saying from you and the one that goes "happily indifferent, indifferently happy".

Time to shovel some snow. Do they even sell snow shovels in the south ????????????

yay for you and your GOOD day! and yay for me and my GOOD day! honey, we are making it happen - how great is this?!?!

take a deep breath because you're NOT going to believe this - i was at work at 7:59 a.m. - yes i was!!!!! i was earlier than just about everyone LOL x forever

i actually woke up BEFORE the alarm and got ready - warmed up my car - ate some oatmeal - and tada - made it in on time!!!!

it was a busy in a good way day. i was happy to see my friends. i was happy to deal with the public. i was just plain happy!!!

at our monday morning meeting, the boss was reading some motivational things on how happiness is a CHOICE. you bet your boots it's a choice. on that i'm sure you AGREE to also because you and i made THE choice to be happy.

happiness sells. i sell happyiness to myself - then sell it on to others. hey, there might be a book in that?

about the water pipes. i can honestly say i am worried. but to try to get the temp up to below freezing right now would cost a fortune - a big fortune - it is that cold in here! i'm now using 2 space heaters.

i don't know IF the rumors of snow are exaggerated and hoped for by the weather people here - but no i do NOT have a snow shovel LOL what i will do is eventually get to the store so i will have some food in the house before thursday!

here's to your tomorrow. live, laugh, listen to the wonder that is all around and be at peace!!!

7:59 ?!?!?!?!? Everyone else must've thought they were late ! LOL Good for you ! Keep up the good work. I make sure to not rush myself in the morning. I still get out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off and I make sure to get a good night sleep too. That's one of the MANY things I'm working on this year.

That's the thing with old houses. They have a TON of character, but once the cold weather hits, it's c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-cold !!!!!!! I have a space heater running in the addition, but the rest of the house stays pretty warm. Once Spring gets here, I'm going to fix the thing in the fireplace that keeps the draft out.

I'm actually in a real good mood right now ! It's been one of those days that I want to bring into the rest of my days.

Guess what ?!?!?!?! .......I rocked again today !!!!! Yes I did !!!!!!!!! My boss came in today just yelling and yelling and yelling. I thought he was yelling at me, but he wasn't. It seemed that he was in a poopy mood with everyone but me ! I had to leave the room a few times because a few moments got rather tense. I made it thru the day and left the place smiling !

I hope the boss is in a better mood tomorrow. Even if he's yelling at someone else, it still takes it's toll on me. I could cut the tension with a knife.

That's my day in a nutshell. I'm sitting at home now being happily indifferent.

it was another super good, wonderful, great day. i am so blessed! i don't take that for granted - not at all.

things just seem to be going very smoothly and calmly right now - yayyyyy. overall, there is an atmosphere of peace - both at work and inside me.

i was there a couple of minutes after 8:00 - oh well LOL i had lunch by myself -well with a book - and enjoyed myself immensely.

is it cold here? yes it is. as cold as the rest of the states and canada - noooooooooo. but this morning the pipes were frozen - except the cold water in my bathroom. luckily i showered before i went to bed!!!!

i wore navy blue sweat pants under an ankle length skirt. did i show them off to everyone? yep LOL people were cracking up. i have no pride with my friends. were the sweat pants a good choice? YOU try walking across that parking lot in a skirt LOL

the pipes were unfrozen when i got home. tonight i will let them run a bit so maybe they won't refreeze. i'm also taking a shower tonight AFTER the bathroom warms up a bit.

i so hope your day was everything good!!!!

isn't it amazing how when somebody is yelling or unhappy or being awful how we attribute their mood to us and take it personally? and yet it almost never is about us.

notice i used "us"? i do the same thing. start thinking what have i done or not done and go from there. so much energy wasted blaming ourselves for something we have no control over. it's sadly interesting LOL

i'm so glad you were able to not let it overly affect you. i know the cutting the tension with a knife feeling and it's awful.

again, my friend, you rocked through the day! i'm so happy for you!!!!!
