struggling- please read, please help

Hey guys, I am having a very stressful negative time and I've had a very hard time using the program skills to help me right now. I know that I am making myself sick. I'm just really stressed out and can't seem to break out of it. I did the relaxation DVD at 3 a.m. and it helped me get to sleep, apparently a little too well. Thank you for listening.

Do you have any family members who could help you out financially for a while, just until you get your feet back on the ground? If you have no food, swallow your pride and go to a food bank--I know they have them in my area and the papers have said that many middle class people are now having to use them. No wonder you are sick--you are under so much stress. This economy is stressing out a lot of people to the max.

I am so sorry you are having such a bad time. My sister went through something similar and my husband and I give her money every month. She also lost her job, but was able to find another one.

I certainly empathize with you and hope the antibiotics that the doctor prescribes help you feel better soon. I think you will be better able to cope when you are not physically sick too.

Cuttinggirl, I have been in the same place you are in right now. Samcat is right. Go to a food bank and get some help. You deserve it. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Do what you need to do. Right now I have no job and in the area that I live in there just aren't anything to find. My house is cold also. I was lucky that a friend lent me an oil radiator heater. Do you know anyone that can help you with your heat? There is help out there. God bless you, I wish you all the luck in the world.

Hi I am a food bank coordinator and we are set up exactly for situations like you are in. Emergencies and financial slumps etc etc. Please call around to some churches in your area and call the Salvation Army they have assistance with rent/mortgage and utilities etc. But you need to get to them as soon as you can. And if they can't help you they will refer you to those who can.If you want to PM me about what city and state you live in I can look up some places on the internet for you. Times are tough all around and its times like this when we all need to pull together and help each other , even if it just means a listening ear.

Thank you guys for encouraging me. I opened up to some friends and let me tell you, my Mexican friend came over with 5 other people and they caulked and sealed my windows, figured out the heat pump thing, and made me a bunch of quesdaillas! I could not believe it. They could not understand why I was bawling my eyes out- with joy and relief at their help- a really really big deal to me but nothing to them, working laughing and joking all the while. One of them even had a temperature thing and was testing the temperature in all my rooms. Then I rolled all my change from a jar and took it to the bank and got $48.50. I know it's going to be ok. I really think we are on this earth for each other. Venturing into the realm of religion here... but... one reason Jesus might have left us is so we could figure out how to love each other in his absence. Thank you guys again for your support and encourangement

I am so relieved you are getting some help. I have been thinking about you all day and hoping there was someone you could turn to. People are usually great about helping if you let them know you need it.
