Do any of you laugh at some of these sessions. I laugh because I know what these people are saying.

I have had really odd thoughts for years. I just never knew what they were from.

The counsilers would laugh at me out loud when I told them what I thought about.

I remember telling one that I was scared to sit next to people that had beards. I was scared I would go crazy and yank the beard hard or something.

This is just one of the thoughts I would tell my counsiler about.

I remember him telling me with laughter that it wouldn't happen.

It's natural to laugh at that beard story. I just laughed out loud when I read it!

That was so funny! But I'm sure it wasn't funny to you.

Try seeing the humor in some of those thoughts, they won't stick in you mind if you start doing that.

As Lucinda said, we have to learn how to laugh at ourselves.

We can't let the thoughts become so serious to us. Because that's when we become afraid of them.

It is odd the things we think while panicing. Gosh I thought so many things for so long. i didn't know that it was OCD then.

I would avoid so many things because I was scared I would do some relaly odd things.
