Hi everyone,

I am new here and have not purchased the program yet. I don't know if it is right for me. I suffered from panic attacks over 20 years ago and was agoraphobic for over 1 year. I pretty much white-knuckled it and overcame the agoraphobia and panic attacks myself. However, I do suffer from GAD, very low self esteem, and probably mild depression. I don't really suffer from anxiety symptoms anymore. I am able to function daily but do get stressed out even at little things. I still do have phobias, such as a medication phobia, driving on freeways, and sometimes wondering if I will have a panic attack if I am out somewhere by myself. I am able to drive locally, go into stores, shop, etc. However, if I am a passenger in a car, I totally freak out and tighten my muscles. Probably due to a couple of minor auto accidents a couple of years ago. I do worry a lot and usually think about the worst possible outcome of things. Also, my muscles are constantly tense to the point of pain. The tight, tense muscles are a constant daily issue for me, not just when I am a passenger in a car.

I guess I was just wondering if, because I don't really suffer from panic attacks or agoraphobia, if the program is right for me. I would hate to invest that much money (money is tight right now) if this program is geared more towards people who are struggling with panic and agoraphobia.

Thanks for your input. It is very much appreciated.

Robyn

Robyn - Try calling StressCenter and asking one of them if this will help with GAD.
I certainly wouldn't want to spend a lot of money if it wasn't geared towards GAD as well.
They should be able to answer your questions.
Good Luck:)

Thanks for your response. I checked this place out with the BBB and almost 200 complaints. I think I will look elsewhere.
