Hey gang I have some prayer requests One if for my friend who is a recovered anxious person, who is having major dental surgery tomorrow and lets pray they have a speedy recovery and that the meds will work and they will get thru it with flying colors.
The second is mine and hubbies finances. We are trying to make it on one paycheck andits hard so pray the Lord will help us make better choices that can stretch our money to meet the bills.
Thanks in advance and Lord bless you all

I'm beginning to figure out what I want to do. I'm writing everything down. I think that I will go back to night school for some business type classes in January.
I'm actually not thinking about my job as much anymore. I'm too busy thinking about what I want to do in the future !
Cosmic! We have the same anger.
You seem to be definitely on the right track both with the classes and your attitude to work. [Double thumbs up!]

Way to go.

Tonight will probably be my last night on the forum until next Monday. I am spending the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend with my wife's family.
Happy Thanksgiving, manofmusic.

Your friend, your husband and you are all in my prayers, Jill.
Best of luck with the dental surgery--man, that sucks! Right before Turkey Day.
I can relate alot to your financial situation.

Thanks for the prayers for the friends oral surgery, they pulled thru real well without anxiety and the pain has been minimal compared to what they thought it might be and its healing well. They are so thankful.
My and hubby are really struggling to get by. He is a full time student and has a 40 hr a week job too but we can barley make our bills. We aren't suffering we are doing okay but we both need dental work and some Dr visits and have not been able to get them. We both need a few bad teeth pulled, been living on Oragel and Motrin ....ugh. It would be so nice if Hubby could get a job with benefits and one that is indoors. he is an overnight Valet at our hospital and he is really cold out there at night. Anyway thanks for praying with us. We are trusting the Lord to lead and guide us.
Thanks guys

Oh yeah I wanted to share this good thing as well. I have been having this horrible fear of this dumb underpass I need to drive under when I am out and about and I keep getting reminded of Peter walking on the water to Jesus in the storm so when I go out and get scared I focus on that but still end up running away the long way home .Today I almost did it again. Then I got about 5 blocks and turned on the radio and a song about Peter walking on water was on..haha Hmm coincidence? No way. So I did a U-Turn and went back and faced it and distracted myself and the time went by fast . But the Lord helped me and I did it

I will try it again each day and get to where it's old hat. That feel the fear and do it anyway isn't as hard when the Lord is with you

Good stuff, Jill, about your friend.
Re: you and your hubby. Just some suggestions here. I would presume you two are hitting Monster, Careerbuilder, etc. Is there a Craiglist for Colorado? Are you checking your state Dept. of Labor? What about personal networking?
