I know this might not be the most appropriate place to post, but this story really hit home to me. Let's show what our members here can do.

Noah Biorkman is a 5yr old boy who is in his last stages of neuroblastoma cancer after a 2 1/2 year battle. His family is celebrating Christmas next week and all he wants are xmas cards. Let's try and see how many we can get to him from all over the world please. His address is 1141 Fountain View Circle, South Lyon, MI 48178. Please re-post this to other discussion boards.

Hi All -

Not trying to be cynical, I did check this story out on both Snopes.com and UrbanLegends.About.com since many of these types of requests have turned out to be hoaxes. In this case, sadly the story is true.

However, the updates on this story on both sites say as of November 13, the family no longer wants to receive cards since they have been overwhelmed with the response. Please see the links below:

Thanks for checking it out. I won't mail the card now. It is heart warming to see how many strangers related to this family and tried to give them some comfort, isn't it?
