I took the paxil CR last night I didn't cut it in half. This is my first medication I took in my life, haven't try any thing else.Yes I do work out almost every day,lot of cardio lot of swimming, lift weight.Unfortunately I lost my relaxation tape due to the house moving I did one years ago with some other cds from the Basset programs. I understand that meds are just to help with symptoms of anxiety. I decided to take medication after a long thinking progress because it got to the point that I couldn't do my job the way I wanted to do it. I just start last night the Doc told me that I want feel any different with in 14 day after I begin to take Paxil CR, my dose it 12.5. Thank you for the book I sure will look in to it.

Hey 9... I was wondering if you heard back on your test results? I often have fears about health, one of them being liver issues. If I drink anything I start worrying about possible liver damage.

Regarding the medication - I have been on Celexa for years (had to increase dosage about a year ago) and definately believe I am better for it.

Hi 9-

I'm so glad that you got my message about the Paxil CR.

I agree about just getting to the point where your life is not what you want it to be, so you try a med. I did that for a while, then went off to get PG, and had a miscarriage. That hormonal shift threw me for a loop and my boss at the time was VERY non supportive for having lost a baby, and I was out of my mind with what-ifs and feeling jittery and just crummy. I started then on Paxil and it does help calm things down so that you can learn techniques to manage this quirk of our personalities (looking too far into the future and fearing everything). If you haven't heard from your doc, keep bugging them. And don't assume that the delay is due to bad news. It is probably due to a busy day at the physician office.

Jill-- I'm glad you weren't offended about my pharmacist public service announcement. You are right about medical info. and knowing just enough to be dangerous. I would say ALWAYS call your pharmacist with any questions or ideas and call more than 1 if you need to confirm the answer. That is what they/we do for our livelihood and it's a normal part of the job. No judgements, just the facts.
