Need some reassurance

I am thinking seriously of moving to another state and start a new job. The pay will be good and I will have much needed independence. My only problem is, that I am afraid that my anxiety will progress into something much more serious.

Has anyone here changed jobs and moved away from families and still coped and recovered?
