my psych insisted that i get this program so i signed up for the trial thing. i've got ptsd and some pretty major panic attack stuff goin on. i really doubt this imagining the world is a wonderful place and going to "waterfalls" is gonna help. i haven't gotten the cds yet, but just by going in the chatroom here, it seems life is pretty rosey for most the participants there and can't imagine them needing this program. could this stuff work on someone as messed up as me? i don't have money to spend on shallow hype and am scared to death to talk about any of my past to anyone. any opinions would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Hi Itsime, can I just tell you, I don't know anything about waterfalls and imagining things...only truth can make you free, and for it to make you free, you have to know it. If someone is bankrupt and yet secretly someone has placed a million dollars in a bank account for them, it doesn't do them any good until they know it.
This course is about truth. I have fought anxiety and fears over nothing for close to 30 years...no kidding. There was a time when the only peace my mind had was when I was so exhausted I would fall asleep, only to dread waking up the next day to face it all over again. This had been my life on and off YEARS! This course taught me what I had, why I had it and brought n understanding to me of how to overcome it myself. I learned that I was causing my own problems and that since I made them happen, I could make them go away; and they almost completely have! I only have fleeting thoughts of the anxieties that I USED to have, now, I think of them to be grateful that I am free from them. Stick with it, do what it says, and don't give up. It won't happen overnight, but if you continue on, little by little, acknowledging your successes, you WILL overcome. I AM SO GRATEFUL for the truths in Lucinda's message!

Hi Itsime,

I just came from the chat room and they were talking about the your comment about the chat room and I said I would reply. First I want you to know that the people there are concerned and have been where you are now. I know that many of them still have devastating days, but through the help of the program and the people in chat are getting positive reinforcement.

The chat room also has a help room area where you can request someone to meet you there that may have had similar experience to yours.

I can tell you that you have to want to get better for the program or anything to help you.

I know for me I started to remember the me that I let slip away and I desperately want that confident person back, so I am working extremely hard to get there.

Just know you are not alone and the people in the chat room have been where you are and knowing that they have made progress should give you hope.

I want to invite you back to chat.

Yes please come back to chat. Often when you are really down you can come in and ask someone to meet you in the help room and someone will meet you there to talk without distractions. Its hard to talk in chat when theres 12 or more and we all have something to share. It can be overwhelming ya know? But please know that the times in chat are not all rosey , not by any means. It just depends on when you come in. Often early mornings are more quiet and last hour can be pretty busy just getting caught up with friends. Come by and keep on watching and dont give up. The chat room is really like one big family and we do our best to help when we can.
Take care
Jill~

Hey there,

Having panic attacks often can make life seem bleak. I suffered with PTSD also. I'm happy to say I don't have panic attacks, hardly, anymore. I'm nto completely cured, no. But I feel a hell of a whole lot better than I did before. This program walks you through steps and gives you things to work on each week. Everyone here is very supportive and the chat room is good too. Not everyone here is rainbows and butterflies. People come here with their problems and such and people try to give them a positive answer or outlook to help them out. If you ever want to talk or whatever, you can private message me. I'd be glad to talk. I hope you go through with this program. Good luck and take care.
