Thanks for posting the link Ms. T Bones. I've been having a rough time these past few weeks (I was diagnosed with H1N1) I'm almost over it, and I have family and friends that looked after me but my boss won't let me go back to work until Thursday....maybe (...if there is going to be a job to go back to.) Please keep me in your prayers. I'm not really a religious man, but something is sure going on with me.

Thanks, David

Hi David,
I will keep you in my prayers!!! You can count on that one!!! I don't know what you mean when you say that something is definitely going on with you...

Maybe, God is drawing you to HIM, so that you can become a truly "born again" Christian!!! He sure knows how to get our attention, huh???

I pray you have a great night's sleep!!! God Bless You David!!!

Yes He does. I know that things (like going to bars, gossiping, vulgar people, etc etc) turn my stomach. Maybe He's helping me grow up, I don't know. I don't know much about the Bible. I don't know where to start. I know that I can't stay the way I am though. I feel so afraid all of the time. I feel so alone sometimes too. I have some good friends and good family that live near me, but sometimes that doesn't seem to be enough.

Thank you ! That makes my day.

I need to realize that not everything is going to go perfect. I need to realize too that there are people that like to "fly off the handle" when things go wrong. I'm speaking of work. I'm grateful to have a job, I just wish that I didn't come home angry so much of the time. There are times for laughter and joy at work, but the bad seems to cloud over that.

Thanks for the prayers. Keep 'em coming ! :)

Man of Music; There is a saying that we may not be in control of what happens to us but we can be in control of how we react to it... I wish I had thought about that when I was a lot younger as I caused myself a lot of pain and suffering...Try not to let that happen to you. Put your mind on pleasant things...Another one to think about," too soon old and too late smart." "Don't sweat the small stuff...

Galaxie,

So true, So true. I know I need to change my thought pattern. After being this way for a long time, it's tough for me not to take the bad stuff to heart. I need to change that, I know. My "magical thinking" takes hold and it tells me that if I become content and happy that something will come along to knock it right out of me. I know that's not true, but it's tough to break the cycle. I've lived the first half of my life in a depressed state. I want to head toward the finish line with a smile on my face.
