Best Contraceptive Pill if you have anxiety and depression

Hello everyone,
I am recently thinking about going on the pill and am a little hesitant about it. Has anyone had any good experiences with contraceptive pills. If yes can you recommend the brand. My doctor gave me Yaz.

Hey well not to scare you but my anxiety was the reason I got off this same pill and have been doing better since. It also made me start getting skipped heart beats and alot of flutters and they are now gone expect for about 1 week before my period but I have came to know that its hormonal. there are alot of claims out there about this pill and I am scared of it and what it can do but do some research on it first. Type in Yaz lawsuits and also look up the side effects I have read from many sites on how non anziuos people suddenly started becoming anxiuos when on this pill, so please research it and do whats in your best intrest. I had the same experience on Yaz too as well as another bcp, so I have quit the hormonal route for right now. I do believe that alot of my anxiety and depression are hormone related though.

I took this pill for a year straight. When I went off it to go with an IUD as I wanted to avoid the hormones, I had my first panic attack. They haven't stopped since. I know that there are a lot of women out there who have had similar experiences, but everyone is different. It works for some, and not for others. As for me, I will never take Yaz again. I'm going without birth control right now to try and get these darn hormones balanced out.

I also don't do birth control. I was on effexor for years then I started on the pill and that didn't go well. I only used it for two to three months. My chest started to hurt and at times I would get a rapid heartbeat. Also, my face started getting skin discoloration and more freckles. That happened three years ago. I just went to the dermatologist and its slowly fading the dark pigmentation. So, right now we use condoms for birth control.
