Hi Jonesey--
I got your post on the naropathy topic, and decided to see what you wrote here. Yes, I can relate to the chest thing.
Like I said on the other post, the burning, tingling, and tightness showed up in different parts of my body. My heart was palpitating nightly, and was making me vomit.
I agree with the nurse too. I also spend a lot of time in front of the computer, since most of my work is done there. I know the problems started with sitting funny while at my PC. Then, being anxious about every little pain, and going to the doctor numerous times, I think aggravated it.
I started going back to my herbalist (who's also an RN), and she could see nerve damage. I also do more stretching ("Yoga for Christians" book), massage therapy is also a must for me. If you can find a chiropractic school in your area, they usually have a student clinic which is very affordable.
As for nutrition, if you have the Anxiety program, follow the advice in Chapter 5. In particular, a B-complex stress forumal is essential; and calcium-magnesium also, because they both nourish and calm the nervous system. And use a heating pad on your chest, to relax the muscles.
If you're still worried, of course see your doctor, to rule anything out. If they keep saying your fine, then you need to work on controlling your thoughts, so that your mind doesn't cause more tension.
Let me know how it goes, okay? Skip
