I graduated from high school.
I graduated from college.
I lived and studied in Europe for a year while an undergrad.
I earned a masters degree 30 years after competing undergrad.
I moved all the way across the country to the east coast, on my own.
I established a new life for myself here.
I was a successful writing consultant for 15 years.
I made it to my 56th birthday <grin>
I landed a terrific full-time, permanent job six months ago with a wonderful company and great people.
I got back into horseback riding weekly, after many years away from it.
I brought my type 2 diabetes under control very quickly and successfully, lost 40 lbs., changed the way I eat, and I exercise regularly.
I involved with some terrific organizations that help people, such as Fairfax Pets on Wheels.
I also volunteer for two other community organizations.
I think I handle anxiety and depression a lot better than I used to. However, I have to admit, sometimes it's stil a bit of a struggle. But as long as you focus on the program and the skills, the bad times are fewer and fewer, and their duration shorter.
My list . . .
