Hello Ricky S.
I just looked at your post and I am wondering how you are doing a year later? I finished the program in August,09 and I constantly refer to my cards and the things I have learned.

Hello Everyone, I have just read all the responses to Nikki. The main thing I got from her post is that her husband brings her down and makes her feel bad about herself. Now even though he may not abuse her physically, emotional and spiritual abuse is just as bad if not worst. I know the Bible couns...

Oops, I just realized I responded to this post a while ago. But this is a topic we can talk about every day, because everyone is affected differently. I don't think anxiety causes fibro, I think fibro makes you anxious when you can't live the way you want because of an illness. I do know that I have...

Hello, I was diagnosed with fibro in 1997. My mother and my younger sister also have it. They both are on disability, but so far I am still working full time. I am afraid if I stop I won't get up again. It is interesting that different meds work for different people. My mother and sister have had th...

Dianel2009, Everyone of us have had the same worthless feelings you are having. As long as there is life there is hope. I am sorry about your situation, but remember where there is a will there is a way. I swear that since I started this program positive thinking along with prayer of course has chan...

Hi mike2388, Everyone gave you good advice. I have a question: when your sister is angry do you get angry and yell back at her? All of the suggestions about walking away and not responding are the best advice, especially if she makes you angry in the process. You are learning to control your anger, ...

Hi Eric,

I am so happy the program is helping, but remember DO NOT STOP TAKING MEDS WITHOUT THE HELP OF YOUR DOCTOR. THIS CAN HAVE VERY BAD SIDE EFFECTS. If you are being treated for bio-polar disorder you may need your meds for a good little while.

Hello Little Italy, I understand completely what you are going through. One of the hardest things about this disease is learning your limitations and listening to the ignorant comments of others. I use to get so angry when people say, "you don't look sick". My response is "I hope I never look the wa...
