Paxil - Main use?

Does anyone know if Paxil is mainly taken for depression or anxiety. I remember reading somewhere that it may cause anxiety. Help.

Alot of meds that are used to treat certain things can actually cause symptoms. It is very silly but true. Paxil is used for many things. Depression, GAD, PSTD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. I took it and it was great for my depression and axiety. I built up a tolerance and gained alot of weight so I stopped. Now I'm on Wellbutrin and my anxiety has trippled
