As I said to THH, there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking time for yourself. We don't need to punish ourselves or feel guilty if we aren't always doing something productive. How long should you take? I don't know. It depends on what your mind and body need. The only time you really need to worry is if you can't get back into a productive mode and I doubt that will ever be a problem for you. You're the Energizer Bunny: you keep going, and going, and going! I don't know how you get all the stuff you write about done in a day.
Happy crying is a great experience. It's refreshing and healing. I don't cry often, but there's a video on YouTube for an X Factor audition in Britain. By the time the video was over, I was smiling and tears were running down my cheeks. I included the link below:

I agree with you about the positive synergy of this group. That is, we can accomplish more together than we could individually (AKA the total is greater than the sum of its parts). I also feel the comradery you describe and look forward to sharing thoughts, victories, and challenges with each of you.
Lastly, yes, obsessive thinking is the O in OCD. The C is the compulsive behavior where one acts out based on the obsessive thoughts. So for someone who has a fear of germs with OCD, the obsession may be the thought that their hands are dirty and the compulsion is the act of repeatedly washing them.
The issue you brought up about obsessive thinking is an interesting one. Knowledge without context or reason isn't very useful.
