Cornflower
When I think of something I might have done or said that hurt someone, or embarrased me badly, I usually tell myself "oh you stupid! How could you have done that?!" And I pray that God forgive me.
But later on I might feel like a 'stupid A. agian over something.

Does God have the same expectations of you that you do? The only person who is punishing yourself is yourself. If you are stupid for saying or doing something that hurts or embarrasses others then we all become stupid. We've all done this before and so if we're all stupid then it really can't be a bad thing to be stupid.

How many parents out there have raised their kids perfectly? I'm sure to an extent all parents fail with their children to a certain extent..there are sooooo many factors. Have you failed at everything when it comes to raising your children?

Your right we do as good as we know AT THE TIME. Or to the extent that we can with what experience and knowledge we have and we all have up and down days.

I'm slowly feeling better day by day :)

Mike:
Thank you.
Very wise words!

Actually my kids turned out okay for the most part.

So thank you for your reminder.

Glad you are feeling a little better.
Hang in there!!

Your welcome and I'm definately going to hang in there. I'm not giving up yet!

Speaking of which I'm finding doing the breathing technique from the relaxation cd with guided meditations and walking for at least 30 minutes is very helpful in calming me down. On top of that I'm using a tally counter and clicking everytime I do something that I approve of. Check it out, very useful!
