I'm currently working and have found a certain comfort zone with what I'm doing. It was a struggle to start this job back in April but I've stuck it out & all is well. Except, I recently accepted another offer that came out of the blue and I am to begin the position a week from today. Lately I've been stressed about this choice and have pondered all kinds of escape strategies, etc. Though everything is seemingly positive about the job I find myself negative thinking it to the point where I'm ready to throw in the towel before I even start. The only thing to do is just go and accept whatever feelings I have. it's not the world's end if I don't end up liking the job- I can go back to my old one anytime or find another. It is just a job.

Maybe you really don't like this job you've been in? is there another line of work you feel you're better qualified for? I think you did the right thing extending your leave- maybe you need more time to think about this. But consider that eventually your boss will require you to either show up or lose the job. Don't sit on this too long and think yourself into a corner. What is really bothering you about it and what could you do about it?

I am also having some work issues. I have worked at the same job for 10.5 years as a manager with 5 employees. I feel unchallenged, annoyed by my employees, unmotivated, and miserable overall. The problem is I cannot replace my job with all of my benefits. I feel trapped and painted into a corner. Making me anxious and unhappy.

Hi,Very good advice from all of you anxiety suffers,I think you should go to your work talk to your boss tell him or her the truth, that
your anxiety overtakes you sometimes, makes you fill bad or scared, but want to get through it
and fill better, thats what i did today, My boss said,he knows how i fill been there, come in tomorow tak it step by step for awile, get it out of you, It will go, anxity wants to stay inside of you, it feeds off being afaid and scared. I sufferd for 25 years of anxity and panick attacks, still to this day,FIGHT BACK,
A little bit at a time, get an panick attack
start thinking about good things, breath in
slowly hold for four secounds let out slowly
Do this for a minute or two, thats fighting back
You will start to relax. good luck tim
