And I wish I'd stop trying to scare myself out of it! I keep going through bouts of hope, and then bouts of "this may work now, but in the future it wont & then I'm really doomed!" DARN that negative self talk! So I keep trying to counter act it b/c ultimatley, I know that I can over come this.

It took me a few days to get started, I received it on Saturday but didn't have the guts to open it until Tuesday lol I'm so glad that I did though as I am feeling a lot more in control & at peace, that I did before. I'm fighting that negative self talk, but I know in time that will quiet too.

Anyhow. I'm rambling. Just saying hi is all :)

peace keeper,
yeah, Alot of the habbits we form mentally that doom us to bouts of anxiety and deppression and ocd, are hard to break. But, in time as we become conscious of all the noise in our heads, and see the repetitveness, then little lights start to turn on. Scary obsessive thoughts are like that too, after awhile, one can see how repetitive and boring they can become, revolving around the same content over and over. The program works great, and dont be afraid to add your own creative side to it, there are a lot of good books that are out there discussing all aspects of anxiety disorders, happy practice!

I can relate. I never realized how negatively I talked to myself until I started this program and really started analyzing my thoughts.

I started reading this GREAT book called What to Say When You Talk to Yourself. Everytime I get anxious, I sit down and read a little bit of it and it always makes me feel better...like if I really make an effort, I can change the way I think and feel. I would STRONGLY recommend it.

Thanks you guys, I appreciate your replies & your support. I'm having some anxiety tonight & am trying so hard not to let it get to me. My husband is out of town tonight too, so that add's to the stress. I know I can get through this though, and I know I can ride this wave ~ I'm thinking positive & determined not to feel this way for the rest of the night. When I start feeling like this I sometimes get angry & wanna scream at this anxiety & ocd telling it that I'm NOT going to live like this for the rest of my life, I'm just not! It's no way to live.

missgsr ~ Thank you for the book suggestion. I just bought it off of amazon and there was a seller from my state, so hopefully I'll get it quickly :)

Here's to happier days & brighter roads! ♥
