Because my ex wife had extra marital affairs, I am struggling with trusting my "new" wife" although we've been married for 10 years.

It took me forever to trust my 2nd husband. My first one left me for another woman after he had me dragged out of the house and hogtied in an ambulance and taken away to a mental institution. Talk about trust issues. I still struggle from time to time with it, I just sit down with my husband and let him know I'm having these thoughts. He then reassures me and lets me know, yet again, how important I am to him. This helps me. He knows about what happened to me in the past and he always takes as much time as I need to talk through it when I have anxiety about him cheating on me. I know ther eis no 100% guaruntees in life, but I feel like there is at least one person besides myself that I can count on.
