A lot of times, my most severe anxious moments happen right here in front of this computer screen. For some odd reason, being on the computer triggers anxiety in me. Anyone else ever expierience this?

Anybody ever get anxiety after being in front of a computer?
Dear Melotrauma,
It only takes one time to feel anxious when doing something and then to completely associate your anxiety with this activity.
The memory is a powerful tool, to be used for scaring or to be used for good. You decide. Why don't you "pass thru" the anxious episode and REMEMBER that when you turn your computer on. It's all about thought replacing. My big thing is getting anxious at night. I have discovered though, it's a habit. It's like I know it's going to happen, and of course it does. I have tried floating thru it, not caring about it so much, and the feelings have now disipated. I still get anxious sometimes, but I am HEALING...I am certain of that...6 months ago I couldn't even sit thru a movie with my husband. Now I find this time when the kids are in bed something to look forward to not something to dread. I have changed my attitude to nightime...b/c I know even if I feel anxious I can still go about what I had planned to do.
Hope this helps!

Dear Melotrauma,
Sometimes I do get a little anxious while sitting in front of the computer, I usually find myself jiggling my right foot, or even just feeling kind of weird inside, but I don't have to sit here. If I have that much nervous energy I usually just get up and pick up around the house or go for a short walk.
I think that for me, sitting here sometimes feels a little confining, but it's "no big deal". Hope I helped a little.
