Hello, I am very frustrated. This all began around the end of march. Everything was happening. My father died,my brother went away, i failed my boards exam four times, my job was on the line, relationship problems for the last 2-3 years. Anyway, Im having some very weird and painful sensations over my body. There is intensed pressure and tightness around my whole head. My arms and upper back aches and burns and i get dizzy often. I have been running to the ER almost every other night. I have been to the doctor's office a million times. He stated that my thyroid and blood work was normal. my neurologist said that my brain and neck MRI was normal, my carotid doppler was ok. jus slightly swollen lmphnodes on one side of my neck. Lately I have been having a hard time sleeping. I do feel though that i have been depressed for a long time. Sometimes i think Im dying or going to have a heart attack when I get these weird feelings. my throat tightens up and everything. I was told that I was stressed out and that I am suffering from anxiety and depression. IS THIS REALLY ANXIETY AND STRESS..THIS IS SCARY. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE HAVING SIMILIAR PROBLEMS.

You are experiencing typical anxiety symptoms. You've had tests that all came back normal, so you can rule out any other health problem. Do you have the program?

Korissa -

Sounds like you have a bad case of anxiety/depressions and stress! Welcome to the club :) We all have felt like that from time to time. It is basically just like any other illness. Your body is telling you that something is wrong and you need to do something about it. Lucinda's program is a good place to start. Try not to fear the symptoms (that is a tough one!!) and learn how your body reacts to stress.

I hope that helps. We are all here for each other. God Bless!!

hey, sorry to hear you're feeling so stressed. I think it can totally affect your body. Seems to me sometimes we try to find some other cause for our symptoms, because alot of us, (me definently) still don't buy into the fact that stress effects everything. But there is alot of research from traditional med community that proves it absolutely affects your body. (that whole mind/body connection.) I think you probably failed your boards because of stress. It was probably hard to concentrate and study also during the test itself. I think working with this program, or something like it will help your body symptoms too. I'm getting ready to go to my psychiatrist appt in about an hour and I think if that's possible, some type of counseling may be helpful for you too. I need to treat stress like any other physical problem I have because it does affect me physically, for sure. Please keep in touch and let us know the steps you're taking, it could help someone else too.
