OK guys...

When I sit in my chair in front of my TV almost immediately I get an annoying pressure in my head. I get an almost immediate pressure on my temples and parts of my face, my eyes get moist and feel like they are going to pop out of my head and my vision feels kinda weird, in general my head feels like its in a vice, and my body feels like someone turned on the adrenal gland and I feel incredibly anxious and spacey and like my mental faculties are reduced by about 50 percent...whew...

the worse part about this is that it happens in a variety of areas, including my bed lately, and the only relief comes from standing up and walking around. The TV chair only started a few days ago but I have been getting it by laying on my couch and that has gone on for a year.

I have posted a message about this before but it had never been this bad and I can't seem to find any reference for it.

I have been to the doctor's FOUR times in the past month for this and all they seem to think is anxiety. I have had so many varieties of anxiety in the past and this feels different...and the fact that I can bring it on depending on the posture I am sitting or laying in just screams to me that it is physical. It even happens in the car and I have to pull over and get out and walk around, oddly enough though it seems to go away in the car though too...

The positions that I can comfortably relax in besides standing are quickly disappearing and I am really scared because I feel like something is being missed.

I don't know, I am REALLY being defeated by this one...could it be high blood pressure in those positions for some reason? A nerve? I closed off vein or something? Something pressing on my heart?...me tightening my muscles so much that the slightest pressure sends my body into haywire?

its been hard to even sleep and that is the WORST part.
I feel like I want to go see another doctor but who would I go to, I have already seen four general practitioners. A neurologist? A chiropractor? A psychiatrist?

Any and all comments and experiences are greatly appreciated..Please help and thank you!

Priv3060, I am so sorry you are suffering. I am not a doctor, but I have felt some of your symptoms. They are all from anxiety. Are you worried and stressing over life situations. I use to do the same thing to myself. You must listen to your relaxation tape and do what it says. Listen as many times as necessary.
I also pray and cry to relieve the pressure in my head. You must find a way to relax.
I have learned to handle the problems that I can and those that I can't I "Let go and let God". We simply cannot solve every situation we come across; sometimes we just have to learn to live with our circumstances; the good and the bad. I hope I said something encouraging to you. Please let me know how your doing? I repeat put that relaxation tape on and turn off the t.v.

Hi Celyon,

Thank you so much for the reply and kind words. It has been a bit better in the last few days, I have at least had better luck laying in bed and sleeping. There is absolutely stress going on in my life and I know deep down that is the biggest catalyst.

Sometimes things just get so intense that we once again say to ourselves "This can't POSSIBLY be anxiety"...when we have said that to ourselves about 10 times before, but THIS time its different haha :).

Again thanks for your words, they help a lot!
